I always wanted this vehicle. The opportunity I had to get it was when an aunt of mine went to the US. But even though my mom had given her enough money to buy it, my dumb aunt said it was too expensive. I haven't forgiven her since and that was 36 years ago!!!

I remember having this and the hydrofoil back when I was a kid. I'm a Transformers collector, but if I had the money and space G.I Joe is easily my #2. It sucks to see these are so hard to come by when it was something I took fore granted as a child. I also got lucky that there was an older kid in my neighborhood who started to "outgrow" his toys and he had a massive selection that he was selling off to buy a bike at about 1/4 - 1/3 the price of a new figure and packaging excluded, were complete. He took real good care of his collection. This was when the silver Cobra Commander with the the robot looking helmet was on the shelves because that was the last wave he had and I remembering them still being in the stores at the time. This brought back memories. Extra thanks for this one.

This was my favorite gi joe vehicle. Got this for Christmas. Absolutely Loved It. I ended up buying 2 C.O.D megabloks sets

Mike, enjoy the channel. Any change of Ramen toys making a Uss Flagg for 3 3/4 inch? I would like a more advanced larger modern version. Maybe some floors underneath. Lights and sounds. Blast effects for vehicles and the Flagg. I figure maybe you could mention it. Thanks

Thanks for this video. You put into words the sentiment that W.H.A.L.E. fans have towards there being a want for a HASLAB project for a classified W.H.A.L.E. Yes please, and thank you!🍻 In general a W.H.A.L.E. would be nice. A Water moccasin, a SHARC and even a Moray/Hydrofoil, Devilish would be great as well at some point. Bummed about that Dragonfly situation. I hope they revisit that in the future. Yo Joe!

Here in the UK there was 2 versions. Palitoy had one as part of their series 3 for Action Force where they just brought in GI Joe figures from the States. It was in a greyer green. Then after Palitoy went, Hasbro reissued it as part of their Action Force line in a different shade of green so finding parts is a mare.

LOVE the Whale. HOWEVER, I would much rather see a Dragonfly, SkyStriker, MOBAT, VAMP, Wolverine, Rattler, Stinger, Mauler or even a TT Battle Platform for a HasLabs. Even a Joe Base would be easy enough. The HISS, admittedly was overpriced and over valued for the 300 Price Point. That being said, I ordered 2. IMO, if Hasbro HasLabs were to go with several smaller vehicles, say a Vamp and Twin Battle Gun, plus Stinger and MMS or ASP, a SkyHawk and Fang plus some Figures, I could see 450 bucks and I would readily sign up. Sadly, currently Hasbro is obviously PRICE GOUGING the Fan Consumer. I was hoping the SkyStriker would fail, as it was way over valued at 230.Should have come in at 150 tops, based on previous SkyStrikers 30 price point and 10 figs. Thanks for the discussion

I love the ideas, and want to see them all. I would prefer a W.H.A.L.E. sooner than later while the demand is high, and they'd go ahead and do it. It holds multiple figures and goes well with several of the Water-based Joes coming fall 2023. A Joe Base and a Platform would be great as well. The other projects starting with the Wolverine are all doable and would move units and be successful. I would like to see a 2 seater SHARC at some point soon as well. Yo Joe! (Cobra!)

A scaled up Haslab WHALE would be bigger than the Thundertank. With all the bells and whistles ( lights, add on, etc) you’d be looking at at least $800 minimum. Don’t think it will ever happen. I think the biggest they would go is possibly a Mauler. But, their are plenty of vehicles that can be made that were staples of the cartoon. For example, a Skyhawk would be perfect. Also, Feret, Moccasin, AWE Stryker, Devilfish, Vamp, Fang amongst others all are possible regular mainline releases. The most realist possibly right now would be a Dragonfly.

I think a 12th scale version would be pushing it, even for Haslab. The H.I.S.S demonstrated how big they were willing to go; only mid-sized. Something as big as the Snow-cat or Persuader would be more likely. Though I thunk they should aim higher. My choice would be the Tomahawk or Mauler. Both big enough to be worthy of Haslab, but not quite as gigantic as the W.H.A.L.E.

I rather see if for retrO-ring. More realistic than a Classified release anyway. Do what they did with the SkyStriker, update and modernize it, fix some of the fragility issues.

Launching your sled out is why those tabs break. They added the finger slot on the door in later Whales so you can manually lower it before launching. I wouldn’t do it too much the way you are in the video.

The concept is great but the price tag would be closer to $500 imo. I passed on the Hiss tank for that reason. I would be happy with a $275 version for 3.75” figures

So disappointing what classified hasn't done vehicle wise, when Mattel has done that WWE wrecking series that are big & sturdy. I saw that black rig in Target for $50 not long ago and thought that would probably be a nice base for a custom M.A.S.K. Rhino (but alas, no 6-inch M.A.S.K. figures... NOTE: my CFCB 6-inch figures don't easily get into seated positions, and I ain't gonna try to push it). Recently saw a toy hunt video that had that $50 WWE truck on sale for $34.99 and when I went on the app to check, there's a target circle offer that has that truck for 40% off, i.e. $30bucks! Plopped two in my cart, and since I don't have those custom skills, one will probably be with a Lewin Optimus for a fake, "non-transforming" Nemesis, and maybe one will be rotated with either an NWO hogan or classified figs.

I would love a Classified WHALE, but it’s not going to happen as a scale up. Too big and too expensive. Maybe they will make that smaller single fan version from 2003 with Cutter would be the best option.

No discussion needed for this, Yes we need haslab to do this. Your price is off with the hiss tank being 300, I think this would command 450 to 500 easy. Way better then the thundertank at that price. Only 3 should be this expensive. The whale, night raven and terrordome. At 500 I still want at least 2.

Nobody is going to buy this if it’s a HasLab. The TOY HATING COMMUNITY will complain about the price, they will say Hasbro is greedy, they won’t like the plastic free box it’s going to be shipped in, their going to say it’s overpriced, their going to say Hasbro is taking advantage of the fans, their going to say Mcfarlane makes better cheaper vehicles that you can buy in store, their going to say why is it a HasLab. So I hope that Hasbro is not thinking about making this or any HasLabs. I’m so tired of hearing or reading about the the TOY HATING COMMUNITY complain about Hasbro. Mattel makes a doorway 400$ and the TOY HATING COMMUNITY says wow what new innovation, Mcfarlane makes a 250$ batwing no paint no lights no figures included the TOY HATING COMMUNITY applauds. Just wait for the pure unbridled hatred Hasbro will get when the announce the next HasLab. It’s going to epic to see all the TOY HATING COMMUNITY come out in droves talking shit about Hasbro.
