Hello, Eva! I've recenntly found your channel. I'm not an English speaker so I don't understand everything what you say (actually, about 80-90%), but your videos help me a lot to start working on myself. My case is horrible. At almost 40 I haven't had any relationships in my entire life, I failed all my attempts. I dream of the last chance though. Having no partner, I still suffer from RJ!!! Hard to explain, but I feel like even if I get a chance my RJ will ruin everything. And I won't have an extra opportunity cause I'm too old. That's why I watch your videos and prepare for my last attempt to find a woman. P.S. I'm Russian, but I'm totally against the war and absolutely against criminal Putin's regime. So don't despise me, please! It's just my feedback to tell my big THANKS to you.

How about when you are innocently given just enough information to start thinking about what happened? I never asked to be told what I was told and I could tell that she was trying to tell me something without actually telling me. It’s mental torture but I never ever bring it up; I know that it’s my cross to bear

Thank you so much for this video and your positive insights in overcoming this toxic RJ mindset. However my partner was used and abused by many of her previous exes and then dumped. I know some of these people and how they view women, especially those who have a so called promiscuous past. I love my partner but can't stop thinking that I have got her exes plaything. They see me with her and some have made derogatory comments to me on her sequel history with them. Some have even tried to advise me that she is a ....... My partner know nothing about this or how I'm feeling. I'm trying not to judge her but this RJ is creating a major problem in our relationship. To make matters worse she still passes herself with these people when we are out and one of them has tried to come onto her a few times. I am starting to question her self respect even though we are together 5 years and she has been faithful to me. I love her and this RJ is rampant

Eva, glad to see you back! I know your videos help a lot of people, me included. Given your area of study, have you ever heard of the Myers & Briggs personality profiles. I stumbled upon this before I had ever heard of rj or as I like to call it rj/e while trying to figure myself out. Diving into my individual profile (isfj) and that of my wife"s (isfj) has really answered a lot questions about why we both do what we do and react the way we do. Just an idea.

Thank you for making these videos! I have couple of questions: In your experience, how often fear of abandonment is the root of RJ? Is fear of abandonment and not feeling good enough connected? And can you heal fear of abandonment with hypnotherapy?
@overcomingrelationshipanxiety
@overcomingrelationshipanxiety 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick, in my experience both of those things are often the root of RJ. It can be both or one of them, it depends on the individual. Yes people heal using Hypnotherapy specifically RTT.

I really need your help regarding this! My boyfriend used to love a girl who had a boyfriend so she rejected him. Again he used to have a major crush on a girl who also had a boyfriend so he never confessed to her. They are still good friends. He was also in a relationship with a girl about whom he was not very sure so he left her.. Then he found me and we got into a relationship. We love each other a lot and even plan to marry..he keeps assuring me that I'm the one..But I'm not okay with the fact that he used to love other girls before me..and he wouldn't have been with me if they loved him back. I feel like he just got settled with me because the one's whom he truly loved were already in serious relationships. I keep thinking that do I deserve someone better cause I'm someone who's always been approached by many men but never rejected by any..I love him lot bt still I can't get over these thoughts I fear that I'll ruin this relationship someday..please help

My girlfriend sometimes struggles with something similar so maybe I can help you by giving a piece of my perspective. I had two long term relationships before her and she's never had any (and that led her to a large amount of one night stands and other crap that triggers my RJ) so she feels insecure about the fact that everything I'm experiencing with her it's just a known experience for me while for her it's a new one. You know, like the butterflies and the hype. She has told me sometimes that the feeling she gets is of being just "another one", and that if the relationship ends I will be the only one she's loved while I will have her forgotten with a new one. So what I truly want her to understand is that there are no repeated experiences, that she is who she is and everything is new and beautiful because every one of us is different. There is no comparison at all. Now, let me tell you that I would gladly change my RJ with hers, because what I told earlier about her having a promiscuous past really gives me embarassing and shameful thoughts. I'm talking about extreme shit I can't even write. From what you've written I think you will be fine. Love changes its form constantly, and when I think about my exes (and yes, I DEEPLY loved them with my soul at some point) it is just not there anymore. He's not settled with you, he chose you and that is all you need from him. He may have loved other girls but that is just what he had going on in life at that point, nothing to do with you. Hope you recover form the heavy-weighted thoughts, I feel you from the heart :)

I'll book the strategy call and what happens after? You tell me the generic sh1t like "our past doesn't define us"? I'd pay a lot to get rid of some thoughts, just find it hard to believe that talking is enough...

Firstly, please don't be rude. Secondly, I dont believe in talk therapy either. It works but only up to a point. Hypnotherapy & NLP is what I'm trained in and what I myself and most of my clients have had great results with.
