@@denysaidan4886 you must be a wwe fanboi... go ahead and a cheer on the same story different char everyweek program... it so funny to watch wwe now... let me show you how it goes... beginning of show... current favorite heel or face comes out and makes a speech only to be interrupted by thier arch enemy at the time...so then current gm comes out and makes a match between the two for the main event.. then you have a couple filler matches then another face or heel promo then maybe a match the fans really want to see.. then it's the main event where if allowed will go on as planned earlier but most times it ends with no winner cause dun dun dun.. wwe has to insert some ending to make it more dramatic.... like villian cheats or hero gets injured and can't continue... gone arte the days when you knew you could tune in the mondy night raw and maybe see a decent match that actually mattered like a championship changing hands without a cheat or other deciding factor... take seth rollins losing the championship to ziggler a few months back... he had to cheat to win...it was predicted.. hell if you know what sites to go to you can get the scoop on returns and who is scheduled to be champion next... Like styles and Joe.. everyone knew joe was the number one contender before paige even walked out to have styles introduced to the number one contender. so as you can see right there i have proven you fanboidom is wasted and you need to go get a life.. a real life and not live thru some weak scripted unsportsman show.

She is one of the best female high flyers along with lita. Wwe didn't do her justice at all. She was also the first ever tna women's champion and she was the main reason why tna has a women's belt. She fought for that behind the scenes. I remember watching interviews where a lot of the female tna wrestlers said they had so much respect for Gail because of everything she fought for when it came to women's wrestling behind the scenes.

@Tony Nguyen Actually it wasnt. There was a tna interview type thing a long time ago and I clearly rememeber all the women on the roster at that time saying gail kim was the one who got the women's devision a title and it was more special that she was the first women's tna title holder.

Michelle, Melina, Mickie James, and Beth Phoenix were the horsewomen of that upcoming PG Era. Dark times man, Michelle vs Melina at Night of Champions is one the highlights of the Divas era, the put on a great match with risky spots yet they got scolded backstage, tragic.

Most of those names you mentioned aren’t talented at all. Besides Beth and Kim. Gail to me is not from that era though, or at least I grew up with her in the same era as Victoria, Trish, Lita, Molly, Jazz. The late 2000’s/early 2010’s PG era was just full of models being forced to wrestle and they did it poorly. Thankfully things turned around.

It’s cool that you first saw her in the second WWE run. Her first run she was pretty awesome because she did most most women didn’t do. So she had her own distinct style and then she started using submission holds making her ultra dangerous. The way she would brawl with Victoria Ivory Molly and Jacqueline in WWE was like damn this girl is tough too! She had fantastic matches with Trish!! Her TNA matches was Gail Kim at her purest! That genuine ass kicking feel to Gail Kim! The passion could be felt it was undeniable. However when she went back to WWE it felt like a watered down Gail Kim considering how intense she would get with Traci Brooks Jacqueline Angelina Love Roxxi And Awesome Kong, while she had good matches on Smackdown with Michelle McCool and Maryse, once she moved to Raw Gail was just another diva. She didn’t have that passion she didn’t have that aggression she had in 2003 and in TNA. Once she came back to TNA she had great matches with Velvet Sky Taryn Terrell and Brooke Adams. She also killed it with Victoria and Mickie James! Her last work with Allyson Kay and Jade (MIA Yim) was IMO, best matches she had put on. Gail Kim is legend!

Love Gail Kim! She ignited my passion for wrestling again in 2007. At a time where I had graduated high school and just wasn’t digging WWE anymore, TNA was awesome alternative with pure wrestling! Gail Kim made me fall in love with wrestling all over again though! I could not get enough of her and the TNA Knockouts!! The 3 minute WWE matches on Raw were a plague. Her few matches she had on Smackdown were watered down yet still good. Michelle McCool Layla Alicia Fox Melina Maria Eve Torres and Gail Kim would put on such fantastic matches in under 3 minutes every week! Shame Gail was traded to Raw. And shame that WWE killed the momentum the girls would have anytime they raised up.

Gail Kim was definitely much more appreciated in Impact and definitely in WWE a couple of years back no one gave a damn about divas matches and I mean people legitimately despised the divas division. I always loved woman's wrestling but the matches back then hardly carried any weight and were like two minute, 30 second matches and the girls were always disrespected and you could clearly see that.

GailKim has her shine, but it was back in 2003, but only for short burst on her WWE debut, way before the DIVA's TITLE was invented, Trish Stratus, Victoria, Molly Holly, Lita, were WWE's top pick, and Gail was just kinda there, and because every industry got to at least have "One Asian" right?

When you see wrestlers do so well in other company’s you tend to wonder how a company that is suppose to be the top of the mountain in wrestling entertainment could drop the ball with so many people. Like what didn’t they see that other companies saw?
@MCWAY1
@MCWAY1 3 жыл бұрын
Or maybe because she wasn't as good as she thought she was, when she was on the top of the mountain. She got the women's title right out the gate; the ref had to tell her to be happy about winning it, for Pete's sake. Just because she's good now doesn't mean she didn't suck back then.

Sorry but IMO she was good technically, actually pretty damn good. But let’s be honest she couldn’t get over with that audience. To me she had no charisma. So yea it would be a different experience for her when she was with a smaller promoter

Her first night on WWE Raw winning the women's title was the greatest thing ever. Only for her to drop it, being Molly Holly's lackey, being pushed down til her release. Then reinstated only to be pushed down again and again.

I agree like example her return I remember her drop kicking Mary’s and Michelle and after holding the divas title up I was thinking maina coming up yes a 3 way for the titles nope that didn’t happen then she got moved to raw and her and Marcuse finals for the divas title and again didn’t get it wwe had a star in Gail so glad she left

Just imagine of so many possibilities that Gail Kim could have had a match against if she stayed with the company and not get treated like crap. Gail Kim vs Charlotte. Gail Kim vs Sasha Banks. Gail Kim vs Asuka. Gail Kim vs Naomi. Gail Kim vs Ember Moon. Gail Kim vs Becky Lynch. Gail Kim vs Alexa Bliss.

I believe she came at a bad time in the WWE when she came back. It was more Diva driven and less women's wrestling driven. I believe if young Gail Kim would've been now.... NXT very fitting. Sad it took WWE that long and I still think they still have ways to go.

I can't speak on if they were treated badly or not cuz i obviously wouldn't know. However there are much more opportunities for women in wwe now than ever before. They went from divas to superstars. From those ridiculous and degrating bras and panties matches to main eventing and having their own royal rumble and ppv. I am just glad when people do what they think is best for them and not let anyone tell them what to do. Hope she is happy. She is talented
