1994 and the Golden Age of WDW is already in it's last dying stage. 93 saw the loss of the original Hall Of Presidents and old Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom. 94 would see the end of classic EPCOT with World Of Motion, Cronkite SSE, Listen To The Land/Kitchen Kabaret etc. After that we'd lose Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and Journey Into Imagination (and Disney-MGM would lose its new luster). When I went in 2004 for the first time since 93, I saw a place I didn't recognize any longer and I haven't been back since.

As someone who grew up going every 2-3 years since 1973, the original classic Disney is still the best. Sadly, the parks resemble more like a theme park like six flags & less like what Walt wanted. Epcot was amazing in its original form. Really miss Horizons & World of Motion.

I still love DW, but agree that it was at it's peak in the late '80s/early '90s. 1993 was the last truly great year. It was still really good for thr next 4 or 5 years, but by 2000 things began to change for the worse.

Oh my gosh, I am almost done binge listening your podcast. I don’t know what I will do when I have none left😿 I really want to try to come to one of your events at WDW in the next 2 years. The work you guys do has brought me so much comfort during the last year💛 I’ve only been to WDW once, but as a kid that grew up in So California who thinks of Disneyland as home I have developed a funny nostalgia for retro WDW, I think I just miss the 70s & 80s sooo much and WDW feels like a beloved cousin to our park here in Anaheim😺 Anyway, just want to say how much I love this channel, the podcast, and the site🥂💛🎈🌟🦋🌼

Before the exit was just a Chevy showroom floor and gift shop. Epcot used to be great. And I'm still mad that I never got my Lean Machine!

why is a 8mm transfer only 480p? surely you can get a higher resolution from that?
