My headcanon is they acually TRIED to do a Glemrock Foxy...but no matter how they approached it they couldnt fit the Rockstar gimmik together with his Pirate persona without making it look wary dumb so....they kinda gave up and made Roxy, with eventual plans on making a Glamrock styled animatronic fore Foxy at a later date and just never did either because Sun and Moon proved to popular ore because they only recently startet gearing up towards his reveal when the Pizzaplex shut down.

Oh look at that I can now monetarily support the best new Fnaf theory channel I've seen pop up in the last year(2023), Hell yeah! Anyways, Great video, I love how you can bring attention to minor details that for some are just, obvious story beats and for others, major surprises they had no clue about until just now. And in the end I got a few take-aways from it. I have a bit of a theory as to why Foxy is so popular in-universe. The cartoon show and Foxy Go Go Go. Look at our real life and how a good villain from the 80s or 90s cartoon era can have a lasting impact for decades beyond their first appearance. Skeletor, Megatron, Cobra Commander, pretty much Any Disney villain. They all became icons in media and remained in the cultural zeitgeist years after their shows and movies ended airing. Then there is Foxy Go Go Go, I've seen plenty of theories talking about his ability to run being why his legs are so broken down, and with none of the other animatronics having any similar leg damage, it's easy to assume this is something Foxy is specifically made to do much more often. Seeing Animatronics on stage is cool, seeing one run into the room to surprise you and your friends is a core memory. So, maybe Foxy is a bit of a special case where he wasn't functional as a real Animatronic in the long term, whether it be the act of running causing his body to wear and break down faster then the others, or being torn apart and rebuilt as a Mangle of parts over and over overshadowing anything else. Instead, maybe Foxy was loved in the same way he is loved in our world. Just a damn cool idea that everyone becomes immediately attached to. Remember, before everything else back when the franchise was just one game, one of the most popular theories was that Foxy was a good guy checking in on the Night Guard, and that the death was caused by a heart attack after seeing Foxy jumpscare us. People just naturally love the Pirate Fox. Can't wait till the next video!

Candii, speaking as someone who has had Bipolar 1 with Mania and Hypermobility their whole life but didn't get Diagnosed until 2022 after a psychotic break and at the Peak of my Mania in middle to sophomore year of high school wrote 50 fanfictions, many of them novel length, in less than 6 months? I HIGHLY suggest you get yourself to a mental professional STAT. And even if you don't have something like what I've got, grief counseling is the bee's knees. It doesn't make the pain go away but it does help one regain perspective and peace while still grieving, again speaking from experience. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the oldest Cadets at 31 and you sound like you're around my siblings ages (late teens to early 20s) so the Big Sister is Big Sistering right now. Please look after your mental and physical health, honey. Content, even as wonderful as yours, can wait. A healthy Creator is a happy Creator. This ain't Fazbear Entertainment. Your Cadets won't gloss over and ignore even the smallest signs of trouble with their Leader. If Fazbear had shown even a sliver of the bare minimum of care towards their animatronics and customers, there wouldn't have been as many reboots and a certain Man (coward!) Behind the Slaughter would've been caught and chucked in prison when he debuted the FunTimes. TF you MEAN there are giant claws, kid sized storage tapes, and parental mimicking??? I don't know how to phrase this entirely but I feel like theories like this are what I'm most looking for out of FNaF right now. Looking at other theorist channels right now everyone is aiming to 'crack the code' and 'solve FNaF', but honestly that kind of thing gets so exhausting when it's every channel doing it. Even FuhNaff's newest timeline video, a video I personally think is the closest anyone's ever gotten to being correct about the FNaF Timeline, wasn't satisfying to me because that's simply not what I've been in the mood for lately. (Great video though, phenomenal video) I remember seeing a video a while back that gave me the same feeling as this one; it was about why Golden Freddy's hat colour changed from black, to brown, to purple in FNaF 1 + 2, 3, and 4. Not a high stakes theory by any stretch of the imagination, just a small idea the creator had while thinking about a franchise they enjoy. I think that's what I'm looking for right now, especially after that FNaF VR 2 DLC lol. I imagine there's a lot of other people who feel the same way but don't have the words to express it. I hope this video finds those other people and makes them as happy as it made me. The children (burnt out 20-somethings) yearn for the decade old 8-BitGaming analysis videos but about Current FNaF Topics --- Also, of course, great editing as always and it's always nice to hear an update from a creator about their life if they deem it relevant. Some people'll skip it but I think it's humanizing to hear about other people's lifes. Also I liked the joke in the beginning about "FNaF Sister Location, you know it, you love it - or do you?" that cracked me up lol

While Scott has never been particularly clear about how many Freddy's locations coexisted during the height of Freddy Fazbear's popularity in the 1980s (if you take the books as canon, we know there were locations in at least eight different towns in the US and not every location had the same assortment of animatronics), I suspect Foxy may have lasted longer in markets outside of the flagship Hurricane locations and may have even been more prominent elsewhere (again, if you take the books as canon, the story Lonely Freddy even outright states this, "There he was in all his Pirate-y, foxy greatness-this eye-patched, peg-legged, hook-wielding orange fox. In this restaurant, he was positioned as a human-size plush figure propped by the stage, presumably there for taking pictures with. But he played a different role in every Freddy Fazbear’s, sometimes greeting visitors at the door, sometimes playing in the band onstage with the others.") so the nostalgia may be because of his prevalence in other locations that we don't specifically see.

And it fits with the meta that Michael’s soul is settled - the character most linked to him is softly absent. Just as Bonnie isn’t present because William is gone (with only the robot Mimic mimicking him remaining - seemingly as robotic Golden Bonnie even in Into The Pit too). And thus meta-wise we get the introduction of an alligator ala OMC to show how we’re shifting the games from Afton-focused to “Henry”-focussed, with the William-linked character having been killed by the “Henry”-linked one, as happened in PizzaSim. And with Monty’s violent tendencies outside of his known-to-fans fun star persona, and the likely origins of the Mimic, in this universe…well at least the meta looks pretty clean so far…

P.S.: even if it's unlikely, I love the headcanon that Roxy literally used to be Glamrock Foxy, explaining the overlap with the western theming and the scrapped log ride near the raceway, and her drive for fame (Foxy was in movies and cartoons after all). Plus, we all know FNAF foxes have a history of gender experimentation.

Since roxy is a foxy variant i feel like at some point the in-universe lore would claim they're related since that's a pretty obvious way to connect the two, like if there was a cartoon that featured them both as part of the cast for example Maybe they would be siblings or cousins 2:40 Poor andrew stumbled into the ballpit or some other gateway to a memory dimension and got killed decades before he was even born ...though that implies he was killed by the ballpit spring bonnie but then directly blamed william for it Which i guess he did technically create it but it's still a bit of a leap from andrew

The Stage 01 minigame also seems to suggest they're the originals. Fazbear Entertainment is also obviously very willing to cut corners if it saves them money so having two extra suits to use at the new location (until they were eventually deemed too unsafe) is something they'd likely do.

This brings up the discussion of the differences and similarities between all the different versions of the characters. Like Freddy and Bonnie aren’t the same as Fredbear and spring Bonnie, as they both appear in the cartoon in FNaF 4 and they have brown bear and blue bunny masks at the pizzeria with a yellow rabbit and bear. But what about the glamrocks and such? They’re so different from the originals, so are they supposed to be the same? Or new characters in universe entirely? (Say that last sentence 5 times fast)

I'm personally of the opinion that roxy was the cowboy foxy in the past, but mangle wasnt used in the fnaf 1 location, like AR's depiction of mangle is entirely about their exepirence in fnaf 2 and theres not really any links connecting mangle to fnaf 1, (also mangle isnt the funtime foxy we see in SL)

My Foxy Theory is that he is not part of the package deal of Freddy and Friends and managed to dodge being aquired-- some holdout designer who never sold the IP to Fazebear Entertainment no matter how much was offered, allowing them to negotiate limited liscensing agreements. And why limit the liscense? Cause if Foxy had an ongoing Pirate Adventure cartoon or movie series ( like Pirates Of The Carribian ) then you wouldn't want Foxy tarnished by the disasters that kept happening at Fazbear's Enter Funtime Foxy, a rebrand / alt coloring, but kids don't accept him. That's not Foxy. And thus becomes Mangle thru audience revolt. Foxy gets to stay in the public conciousness, allowing FazCorp to ride that Good Will when the Pizzaplex era comes along... but of course, Foxy's owner still won't sell exclusive IP rights, so they're forced to negotiate... so side line em so he never gets so popular they're forced to pay out the nose annually to negotiate a Use Of Likeness contract with an outside operator.
