What is the standard weight of sacrificial anode? And how we do inspection ,when we can replace it ..

There cannot be any standard weight. The weight and size of he sacrificial anode will depend on the area/size of object to be protected and the duration. It is the part of engineering calculations.

What is the situation if the iron pipes/tanks ( cathode) are above the ground level. If the sacrificial anode still works or else is there any other way.

The same thing happens above the ground also. The moisture present in the atmosphere will itself act as electrolyte.

Thank you. It will undergo electrochemical corrosion. Electrochemical medium is present inside the pipe, as well as the moisture in the atmosphere will help it to undergo corrosion.
