i mean they are far from the only ones doing it, but what's always interesting is that when its israel, it takes so long in the video to even mention that they're who's been talking about, whereas for anybody else, the nationality would be right in the title of the video and mentioned in the story within the first ten seconds. they're completely aware that by 1:35, the majority of the viewers will have already clicked off after getting the gist of the story in the opening.

Almost every platform does have the flaw, it's the fault of old phone infrastructure and people relying on convenience. At least with signal and google you can choose the less convenient options and not be vulnerable (don't verify with texted codes). Question is why they offer the less secure option at all, might as well just let people have "password" as their password.

@@RiffGlitchard I could have answered my own question. The State of Israel (to differentiate it from the people who live there) operates under the same laws as the US, the UK, and everywhere else. If money is involved, there are no laws. A lot of lip service is given to equal justice and free democracy and individual rights, but it is just that, lip service. They should be careful though. It is a 2 edged sword (as Crime Minister BooBooNetyeryahoo is about to discover). One can always rely on the mobsters to eventually fall out with each other.

We have been using it since there started to be claims about Russian interference in the elections. There is no problem with that, given that the counting of the ballots is done by the electoral tables themselves it is a parallel process which is just as fast as canning the ballots electronically and in practice just as fast as an electronic system, even if the results are instantaneous, you still need to check and set up some things so that in practice you may only win a an hour or two, if anything.
