It was the first game I remember beating. I also remember getting to the end of the village, killing the big cheese, and being like, “well, that was a great game.” Except it didn’t roll credits. I was like 7 and it blew my mind that there was still more game to play after that.

@@UngliYT Nice man. I was lucky to catch it on game pass a long time ago. I was worried I wasn’t going to finish it, because of the motion sickness it gave me; but I fought through it and glad I did.

Currently replaying this and having so much fun, the best 30 mins, X2 a week. Will move onto revelations 2 after, so keen to see a review on it please.

Revelations is an underrated game that has 2 well loved characters we can play as. Replaying this game never gets old and the raid mode is oddly addicting. The story was simple and gameplay was easy to get into. I definitely feel you on the evading. I rarely do it, but I think evading back is more consistent. Most importantly, Jill is consistent character wise. Hate the current version of Jill being Alice from the films.

I am currently doing raid again solo on the switch and nearing the end of abyss. Revelations as far as im concerned is one of the best RE games out there. Ill probably be playing it in another 12 years also. Anyways great video

I get why people didn't like resident evil six but I personally absolutely loved it and had a lot of fun.

Agree with everything but Rev 2 rocks....combat mechanics feel weird at first but gets much better further you progress

My problem was the campaign and the writing. I actually did like the combat. And Raid mode was excellent. I intend on covering the second Revelations as well

@@UngliYT I thought the writing of Rev 2 was solid! Bear in mind "The Overseer" was mentioned 5 times in RE5...once in the main campaign...and 4 times in Spencer's primary work office (Lost in Nightmares DLC) stating he funded her research though she cut off communication upon making significant progress in order to take full credit for the research. Moira Burton was mentioned in either RE1 Remake or RE3 Nemesis in the files though think it might be the latter. Best part about Revelations 1 story wise was the subplot involving Jessica & Raymond. If you watched Jessica's report on YT (released only on a DVD in Japan originally), it basically mentions that Tricell reached out to both Jessica/Raymond after the Terragrigia Panic sensing something was up with Morgan Lansdale. If members of the FBC were sacrificing their lives in order to help Lansdale receive more kickbacks/money on the side, then they too felt it was appropriate to "get what was theirs" behind the scenes as well. ^It definitely resonated with me bc I've been in that same work environment as well....great social commentary. You might not like the ppl you're around in your family, peer groups, work environment, etc...but you subconsciously become a byproduct of the ppl you're closest to regardless whether the "intent" is initially there or not. I'd say Revelations 1 was a terrific Double A mobile game for the 3DS boasting the best soundtrack in the series whereas Revelations 2 was a Single A multi-plat spinoff having a much lower budget with majority of the funds being utilized on RE7 at the same time. The stories told in Rev 1/Rev 2 seemed as if they had been marinating for YEARS before finally being showcased in game releases...love both entries personally as I'd give each S ranks.

Sounds like I need to replay it. Maybe I’ll feel differently now. I’ve switched up on games plenty of times. I HATED Skyrim the first time I played it. I’ll get to a Revelations 2 video at some point, I have no doubt. Probably every RE game.

@@UngliYT Yeah also bear in mind "Wesker" was a created surname bestowed upon Ozwell Spencer's pupils...not the actual surnames of Alex/Albert....no biological relation there.
