It's just pointless. I'd rather have a number of 4 cylinder turbo cars like the Focus ST, Focus ST, Fiesta ST, Veloster N, WRX, etc. If you're going to have a muscle car, anything except a VW is just like, "why?" Smaller, lighter cars with a 4 cylinder are more fun as well as more practical. If you're going to get something impractical, go all the way at least.

Hey, after watching your review and talking to you a bit in the comment section I ended up getting a 2015 mustang Gt premium. The review is spot on, but aside from all of its flaws, I love it. I've wanted one since I was a sophomore in high school and now I finally own one. The car has horrible panel gaps, interior rattles, but other than that, it's great. No the interior isn't of the highest quality but for 32k I can't complain. It's a great car to drive. Thanks, Grayson.

I knew for me the 2017 Ecoboost premium was the best option. I appreciate the looks and miles per gallon --- 20 mpg combined and 34 to 36 highway. I've driven three adults for short trips. It's a great daily driver and is very comfortable on road trips. I like the toggle strips. The trunk is spacious and folding down the rear seats makes it great for the occasional need to to haul longer items. Thanks for the review

MAP makes a stellar replacement intercooler. It's what I have on my 2016, factory precision mounting. Easy install. and temps are very low now. Mishi makes an easy catch can kit that takes like 15 mins to install. Those are the only improvements on mine and I average 27 mpg as my daily driver. The GT model is awesome, but for a daily, I chose to save 8k and fuel.

Great review. I rented the ecoboost on a recent vacation. You absolutely nailed it on the steering feel. It's the big let down of the Mustang. For luxury this is a great car for the money. It's heavy and front heavy. Not to be confused with a sports car no matter how fast they make them or what they can do on a track. I appreciate what you're saying about the GT being too fast to enjoy on the fast. I think with where horsepower is going the qualities that will be important are connection and feeling fast. On that note looking forward to the review of the MX-5. Nice touch with he shots of Arlington and the Stones cover. I hope viewers get it. Please keep them coming. If you do a Patreon, let us know. Great reviews, man. Keep up the good work. I love the discussions of the suspension while underneath the car. Almost nobody else does that. Now as for your criticism of the GT's handling: If you have a 400+ hp V8, you can't go into a corner off throttle in the rain then stab the throttle mid-corner. Even the most controlled cars will yaw violently under those conditions. In other words, your statement that you have no confidence in the GT's handling would apply to any other high-horsepower, rear-drive car.

An ecoboosted v6 cyclone engine would likely wind up being faster than the naturally aspirated v8 coyote haha It sadly seems like Ford is phasing out the v6 for Mustangs, which is why you can't even get the premium interior with the v6 on the new S550s. A huge shame because the v6 cyclone is an absolute beast for a v6.

And I can tell from the beginning of you driving till the end you learned the same lesson that all other gt drivers in the rain learn, the car will not be pushed in the rain. One time I was driving home in the rain getting onto an onramp for the freeway. I hear an Audi floor it as it tries to fly past me, I knew I probably had the hp advantage so I also floored it. My car went sideways instantly, I let off and tried again, and the same result. The Audi flew past me as I spun lmao. On the dry this car rips tho!

Had a Focus with direct injection, every morning it would idle rough until you took off down the road, then fine the rest of the day. @@rmccormafirst of all this is not a car to buy if you are concerned about value for money... Both cars are not practical and in real life driving aren't much different when it comes to fuel economy.... do what u want with your money. But the ecoboost doesnt "handle" better. The eco has a lighter feeling wheel because it has a lighter engine. But you lose the significantly better brakes and rear differentials and chassis braces that come wit h The GT PLUS you lose 100 hp and the reliabilty of the coyote motor, which is bulletproof. You can flash the eco, run e85, intake and Exhaust and get the same power of the GT. BUT you just spent an additional 3,000.00 and lost your powertrain warranty... That same 3000 in a GT can get you 500 whp in the 2018 models... High 400s on pump gas... The GT Will perform just as good on the street and on a track and feels way better on the highway. Plus you have suspension mods to get even better. Prices depend on local markets the ECOboost cars are actually sellimg in the mid 40s... So in some cases they are 2000.00 MORE than the GT.

I grew up in a large family that drove mostly Fords. Out of 10 uncles, only 3 drove Chevys, so I am obviously biased. That said, as good as the Camaro is, this generation of Mustang and the ones that immediately preceded it look like they are designed for people to actually fit into and see out of. I love the 90s Camaro, but it has that lumpy passenger footwell in front and placing it in a tight parking space can be problematic. The "reborn" Camaro? Looks like styling was THE priority, not whether people fit in it, though to its credit it has great engines. My biggest bitch with Ford though was their decision to just dump the V6 Mustang and invest heavily in the turbo 4. The market SEEMS (?) to be telling them how wrong that choice was.
