I am a guitar player but enjoy adding synthesized sounds to projects. I do not have the space or the money for a physical Minimoog, and I am very happy with this plugin that I got on sale!

I'm a year late, but just got the moog on uad spark subscription so I'm here to be educated! U-he Diva sounds amazing in moog mode, also moog have released Mariana but I haven't tried it as I've heard it hammers cpu and my projects get BIG with lots of layers

No, the Akai Moog sounds pretty decent for something to have in standalone mode, but the UAD has a richer more detailed sound.

Pay one time for Arturia's version. No internet connection needed, no UA Connect needed, no iLok needed... imagine paying once and being able to use it on a laptop anywhere and still have your Thunderbolt/USB C ports available (no iLok key)... ;)

The Arturia Minimoog sounds like a toy compared to UAD so I will take UA connect with internet any time of the day, any day. The UAD minimoog sounds raw just like real analog!

@@Rgdonaire_07 I'm constantly working on-the-go. Planes, trains and automobiles. No time for dongles, internet connections, iLok, UA Connect, etc... pain in the ass. :)

Well...this and a few other plugins are apart of the native version so you don't need internet nor any of the uad hardware to use it....The native plugins don't need to much.I have a few of them.

@@NewPhone-n5o via iLok which requires internet or you must sacrifice a port for an iLok key. Nope thanks. Still enjoying working anywhere and everywhere when I'm on the road and only using my ports for external SSD's. :)

I can't give it a good rating, because it doesn't sound like moog, the minimoog for ipad really sounds closer. 👎 But if I can say that it reminds me a lot of Creamware Minimax, it feels very close to my digital unit and I could give it a 5 out of 5. 👍
