Review: Delta Airlines B757-200 HD| FIRST CLASS Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale

Travelers flying direct to Fort Lauderdale via Delta may want to consider taking advantage of these lounges, where they will find amenities like complimentary reading materials, WiFi, and even travel assistance.

@@PhaiFoodandTravel Yes, you are right sometimes on short flights serving onboard the cabin. So, yes, I love going to the lounges and that is one of the reasons it is nice to get to airport of departure early.

I was told at ATL a first class ticket by itself does not qualify you to use the lounge

You either have to be a medallion status, with a sky club access membership or have the Delta Reserve/Platinum card to access Sky club. As of February 2023, the sky club is more exclusive since there were complaints of limited seating and long lines. It’s kind of both good and bad to have the exclusivity.

Not quite sure how you got access to the Sky Club lounge with a first class ticket domestic flight. I took a first class flight from Mia to JFK this last December. When I reached the Sky Club, I was told my first class ticket does not quality me for the lounge. The person at the first class counter whipped out a phamphlet, showing which AMEX credit cards include free access; believe they start out $550. In addition, pssengers can no longer purchase day passes.

I realize it’s not worth it anything under 900 miles because they don’t even serve you any food.

The 757s are really nice to fly. Sometimes the newer seats in First Class are way larger and others are still fine.

I feel that 757 are much more spacious than others newer models.
