This is a review of the Jura ENA Micro 1. I have had it for two months now. It is the 3rd beans to cup machine I have owned. I had 2 Gaggia machines before this one and in my opinion this is the best coffee machine by far!

I’ve had one of these for about 6 years now. Superb machine. Simple to use and great coffee.

I cannot resist to comment that we have 7 years experience with Jura. It is Swiss made and it shows it. The quality of material is excellent, super automatic mechanics are awesome and it lasts without any problems. Our first Jura machine was the large one with milk option, expensive one. At first, we thought that it was a really big splurge, but after using it for some time, we agreed that it was worth every penny. We LOVED our Jura. You can compare it to Lexus in cars. Comfort and delight every morning (twice for both of us). We know how a perfect cup of coffee taste and this was it. However, with newly redesigned kitchen, our Jura was taking too much space and we personally didn't use milk option (only for our guests). Jura has an excellent resale value and we sold it well. Immediately, we bought Jura ENA Micro 1. It is just the same high-quality super automatic and we loved it for 4 years already. If you can afford it, you will not regret buying it and will be hooked on Swiss Jura for rest of your life. I highly recommend this product.

Thanks for the video I have been looking at this machine and I've had a test from it I am not sure whether or not I want to go back to buying coffee beans. I currently use Nespresso I get on well with the capsules the recycling system. I bulk at the £150 per year service with no loan machine. Hummm enjoy! Just make sure you buy FairTrade coffee!!

Hey, have you had trouble cleaning the insides of the machine? (The area looking into the machine when the drip tray is removed) Also, is the water from your drip tray clear or with some coffee? Thanks!
@RussellPlatten4 жыл бұрын
It is not the easiest machine to clean and there is coffee in the tray when I clean it too, :-)

Top video mate! How would you rate it for long term robustness? Also sounds a bit loud is it? Cheers
@RussellPlatten10 жыл бұрын
Scott Buchanan I love this machine Scott. I think it is well made and reckon it will last a long time. Who knows? It is no louder than the other machines I have had. This is my third beans to cup coffee machine, they are all loud! I prefer it to the two Gaggia machines I had before it.

Thanks for your review. I'm looking at getting this machine and purchasing the Breville milk further to make cappuccinos as well. My wife is allergic to milk, so this will allow us to make soy beverages as well. Other than the water filling any other beefs? My concern is internal cleaning of the coffee basket. Cheers!
@RussellPlatten10 жыл бұрын
No Jeff, I have no other issues with this machine. It does not have a brew group like other machines, meaning that cleaning is very easy. You only remove the tray, empty the grounds and rinse it all under the tap. Cleaning the internals is very easy too, place a tablet in the ground coffee chute, fill the water and follow the instructions. Far less bother than with my other bean to cup machines. I love it. I have had a Gaggia Syncrony Compact and Gaggia Brera. This is a far better coffee maker. We have also had a Siemens model at work and are presently using a Jura Impressa XS9 Classic which is far superior to the old one too. I hope this helps. Thanks for your comment, Russell.

How many ounces can you program the buttons on the top? I'm looking to purchase this machine but wondering on the limit to what you can program the machine to dispense. Great review!
@RussellPlatten9 жыл бұрын
petrockmedia Hello, the machine has two strength settings 6g and 10g, there are three fully adjustable cup size settings. I enjoy my coffee strong and I drink a large cup, so I have two maximum cup sizes at maximum strength and it fills my cup. It is easy to program the amount of water each of the three buttons dispenses. I love this machine and it is the third one I have had, I had two Gaggia machines before it. I hope this helps.

Yes this helps a lot! My wife and I are looking to purchase this one, as we already have a great milk frother (breville milk cafe). I was just wanting to know if we can set the amount of ounces that is dispensed out of the 3rd and last coffee option on the machine. Thank you
@RussellPlatten9 жыл бұрын
petrockmedia The machine only has two strength options as mentioned above. The three cup buttons are to set the amount of water and these can be set individually as required. I hope this clears up any confusion. You only have two strength settings, 6g or 10g, these are the two buttons above the cup buttons.

Whenever I've heard the word "cheap" attached to any product I, automatically assume that it must belongs to the inferior quality class. Well, this should not be exactly what cheap meant for, in the English dictionary but, affordable that quality and reason-ability both didn't get suffered because of each other. So please avoid this word for the next time. coffeemeplease.com/ has shared very valuable research based stuff with factorization of the class. Just check it out.

1 gallon coffee on an espresso machine...

I've had this machine for about a year now and use it daily. Highly recommend it, worth the money. I clean it every time it tells me too, but I've noticed some serious build up of grounds and general muck inside the machine. Have you ever pulled the sides off and cleaned it? Do you have it professionally cleaned once a year? I would like to do it myself but I'm a bit nervous pulling it apart. Great review by the way.
