I have had mine for about 14 years and it has made bread, pizza dough, pasta, cookies, whipped cream and more flawlessly over the years.

Best stand mixer i have used, had my doubts before i bought it because of only 300 watt. The Mixer is very strong and solid a real quality product from KitchenAid.

@Petra Robinson but how? that's a very fundamental question. Every article said buy 600 watt or above, and it has only 300. So? Bend physycs?
@fatumteam5 жыл бұрын
@Petra Robinson so maybe there are a different, more sophysticated motor system working in the Kitchen Aid (hence expensive) and other manufacturers built their products cheeper motor, and they want compensate much more power. One more question the Artisan use less power than the Kenwood, I mean more eco friendly?

@Petra Robinson what do you think about SMEG Stand Mixer? And when compared with Kitchenaid? there are some differences concerning to the power engine for example.

A couple of years back I found a floor model Artisan "Designer" with the glass bowl at 50% off. I'd just started looking and was thinking mostly about what would fit under the counter. But at half price? Wrap it up. Very happy ever since.

I hate mine because when I turn it on it shakes! It is missing the spring that the beater attaches to. I miss my old kitchenaid!

Mixer head is shaking at 1:14. Is that normal? I experience the same with mine. Do I need to do some adjusting and how? Thanks

Could you test the new KA Artisans that do not have the spring on the beater shaft? They took it off in 216 and evidently the beaters jump around. Thanks!
@bakingwithme13373 жыл бұрын
You know, I called KitchenAid about that and they said that having the spring there damages the mixer and makes it harder to clean. There were many test by the factory, and there were no results showing it effecting the mixing action. It does shake when it is not turned on, which can make some customers nervous about the mixing action, but because of the planetary mixing action the beaters, or whatever attachment you use, will hold steady. I prefer not having the spring because when I make tough batters our doughs, the mixer head will bobble up and down and so does the attachment making the mixer more steady and not risking damage to it. Hope this helps!

kann die KitchenAid 5KSM125EER, Artisan Küchenmaschine amzn.to/2CUaDhG für Rund 400 Euro sehr empfehlen.

Don't trust Top Ten Reviews... This machine gets hot and really labors with bread dough. Notice @1:09 the very short clip of kneading bread dough, just look at how much that head moves around while kneading (these heads actually break). If you're making bread do yourself and your mixer a favor, buy at least a 575 watt lift bowl. For less than a hundred bucks more you'll get a much more capable mixer.

The KitchenAid Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Metallic Chrome is the best mixer ttps://kzbin.infoUgkxV-4_UFTAJEegRY8I2jrpCEthOr39izrZ I have had in the 53 years of marriage! It is a delight to use. I didn't think that we needed a mixer as I rarely made cakes or rolls because of our heart safe and dibetice diets. Previously our old mixer (another brand) burned out from making rolls. My Mother kept insisting that I needed a mixer. She bought this one for me. We are so happy that she insisted. The hook beater blends meat loafs, cookies, hamburger recipes so well that I don't have to use my athritic hands and does a quicker cleaner job. Also, it will help to make bread and roll recipes. Buying this mixer would not have been a problem for us. We just did not know that it would be useful. It's powerful motor allows us to cook more than we thought we could.
