On Thursday the 14th of December we launched our flagship Review of Energy Policy 2023 at Carlton House Terrace, London.
For our 2023 Review our focus was on the priorities that a new government should address in the first 100 days of taking office.
Although the first 100 days of any new government are challenging, early performance can be a critical benchmark for new leaders, as such we have drawn on our current research programme to highlight key areas of action and priority in the energy sector.
The review included contributions spanning the UKERC research programme, covering geopolitics, local energy, the environment, infrastructure transitions, mobility, heat and industry.
During the launch event we showcased two topic areas, before moving to responses from invited stakeholders and then questions from attendees.
