McFarlane just doesn't do it for me. They used to produce badass statuettes about twenty years ago, but their modern action figures are of sub-par quality. As far as Warhammer goes, JoyToy for the win.

The devise on hes wrist could be a micro power generator used to power up the energy swords. Think this figure must had that kind of weapon not a chainsword. Its a beutiful figure, but ill wait for JoyToy to their version. Great review, brother Sprues, thanks for the time you spend in the hammer of the emperor.

I would like McFarlane to release 40K weapon packs. Too many figures come with chain swords.

Aesthetically, without some of the more ‘40k’ ish details, it looks closer to a WW2 Soviet Commissar. Also, I’m not sure about the long term durability of the pleather trenchcoat. That being said, i like the figure, mostly because it’s the first time a IG Commissar has been done in either 1/12 or 1/18 form.

I was searching for a review of this figure for a month now.. Then I purchased it this week Tuesday. Im disappointed regarding the quality execution paintwork of this figure. It needs to be re-done.

Yeah, I wish that McF put more regalia and panache into this figure. You saw in the video that there have been some stellar examples of commissars but this one falls extremely short of the mark

I don’t know…they actually haven’t been too bad. I mean for a McF figure. As flawed as the Titus figure is, fortunately or unfortunately it is the best that McF has to offer

No, this action figure is not related to Titus. This is based off of the Astra Militarum Commissar which is another arm of the Imperium
