Hi, well l've often read that their previous sets were much like the Kalour and Brutfuner ones, so l kept my money for something different 😉

Yes they are, the Kalour and Brutfuner black barrels are using the same pencils as the Shuttle Art however I do believe from my previous contact of the Shuttle art company liaison that there was a quality control issue and they rejected due to mis spellings on the pencils and problems with pigment not being properly blended in the cores ... this left the manufacturer with a abundance of these pencils that they sold to other companies as a white label.

Hi Rene, thank you for another very informative video, l didn't know Shuttle Art had a 260 pencils set 😳. Now l must say my 180 Kalour and Brutfuner are already a lot, and l haven't explored all my pencils possibilities. Question : do you recommend the Caran d'ache blender for most colored pencils ? I have a Derwent and a Kalour ones, and l'm not convinced by them (or maybe l don't use them properly). Have a peaceful weekend ❤️

Glad it was helpful! Yes I find that there are very few sets of pencils that the Caran D'ache doesn't work with and those few that it doesn't I use the Derwent
