Same! Generally my sister tells me if a book is spicy, but sometimes I want to read a book she hasn't read and it's such a big headache figuring out if it's a closed door romance!

one of my favorite book apps is storygraph and it literally gives you all the data (pages read, average rating, etc) with literally no work on your part AND it automatically transfers all of your goodreads data so it’s so easy!!!

I used to just rate any book I liked a 4 star and then if it was life changing, a 5! You inspired me to be more real about how I feel and now I give books like 2.5-4 more often and at first I felt bad but it’s honestly so true that a 3 is not bad. It’s enjoyable while reading but not like .. outstanding! And that’s good too! It doesn’t mean it’s bad at all.
