Hi thanks for this video ! Question I am trying to avoid syncing this to my phone... Can this work in automatic trigger mode without the use of the APP? Im not even going to install it.....wondering if this can auto-trigger after cat uses litter box and what is the default delay time after it detects that cat has left the litter box? I know this is all programable on the APP but Im trying to save from having yet another App on my phone. Thanks for any feedback.

Hey sorry I’m new here, there is a thing going around that amztoy is a cat killer because it was said to killed multiple baby cats. So if your reviewing some automatic cat litter boxes please do not buy amztoy I’m sorry if I’m late.

Is this one of the dangerous ones like Amztoy? Be careful it cannot close on your cat and kill it-some of these are so badly designed with shoddy sensors etc-it’s shocking! I’d rather use a scoop than lose my kitty 😮

As a physically disabled musician and soon-to-be new Devon Rex owner, just wanted to say that I appreciate you including us in your thoughts and messaging. No one ever seems to include us when it comes to product reviews etc; we're not a particularly trendy subject. I was looking into this specifically to help me avoid bending over as often since I have bone problems. Great to know that you think it will be helpful in that context, but also good to know it may be difficult to physically deep clean. Thanks again!

Just got this myself. They deodorizer is an ionizer/ozone maker. If the box is clean and you are near it during deodorization you’ll notice a quality to the air. Like a crispness after a lighting storm- if that makes sense lol. Also, for a deep clean pop that lid off, unscrew those 2 screws in the back and remove the drum for a thorough hose down and wipe the base with sanitary wipes :-)

hood comes off with the two buttons, and a guy on the internet says there are two screws to remove to remove more of it to easier deep clean. hope this helps and is true

Used it for over 1 year and works great. Sometimes the sensor on litter is wrong, but no problems. No brainer for multiple cats. The unit would not kill the cat.

Clearance cleans out clean litter? is it really clean after having cat poop on surrounding litter and then box mixes it all up/around so its never really clean after first deposit, technically. 😉

I was referring to a steel pan and/or any litter box made of steel. :) Steel is less porous than plastic so it doesn’t retain odor. Not sure if there’s an automatic steel litter box, but there are a lot of conventional steel litter boxes if you’re looking for an option for odor control!

Ok... So the deodorizer function is an electric ozone generator Ozone is used to clean up really bad smells in homes that have had fire or flood damage I could smell it instantly during set up when I was running it with no litter It is a clean fresh scent reminiscent of the smell in the air just after a rain

Idk what I am doing wrong mine gets so dirty inside and gets pee and poop stuck on the walls. Ugh 😣

I definitely noticed some smudging as well! It might help to set the timer a little later (5-10 min after) so that the poop and pee have time to harden and settle into the litter. I noticed when I trigger the rotation too soon, it’s more likely to smudge.

With having a few rescue cats i sometimes don't have the time to sift all 5 litter boxes so i just received this exact litter box yesterday. I just set it up but my main concern is that i have 2 kittens and i worry about them using it, they're 4 months old so they're not tiny but kittens like to explore and investigate new things so I'll b keeping an eye on the box a lot just to see how it does when one of them goes inside it. I'll try to leave a response after some time watching it work. That way if anyone has half grown kittens like me then you'll be able to know if it's safe for them.

Just curious where do you put the litter box in your apt? I currently have a large plastic litter box and it’s working great (except the inevitable scatter) but I can definitely see an automatic box working well for someone who can’t bend over or get down low. I just wish there was a more natural place in my apt to put it as currently it’s in the entranceway because it’s the only place that works 😅

Probably not the best location but I have mine in the corner of the living room. I definitely feel you though, cause it has incidentally become a very central-looking piece in the apartment. 😂😂 I’ve kind of grown a liking to the “rocket-ship” aesthetic of this one though. 😅

From what I've looked up on the sanitize part. I'm wondering if it has a blue light somewhere inside it? If it does, that is what does it. Believe it or not I have that in my pond, my fish aquarium, and a filter system running in our home. It purifiers the air. I am looking for the muhub auto litter box. This one here looks very close to it. I thinking it might be an Amazon product. I know it's newer because there aren't any reviews on it yet. 4 kg is 8.8 pounds I hope that helps. I deep clean by by removing the top along with the “drum” I use the pressure washer (water only) let air dry amd assemble again , quick and easy

I'm wondering if there is a way to change the time listed for the uses and such. Its in military time, which is fine, but i dont know if it syncs to my timezone like my phone does. Seems to be an hour off.

Don't know if you fixed this yet. But I had that issue, my wifi router has 2 wifi signals it transmits. A standard one (whatever the signal freq is) and a 5ghz one. My phone was on 5ghz and it wasn't working. Curiously, I switched to the standard one and it worked fine. I don't think the litter box has the 5g receiver.

Hi! Usually "lack" means that the dust bin is running out of space. So whenever you see this it's time to empty it!

This is not the same litter box that has killed some cats. If you look you will see that this box rotates a different way. It does not rotate up and close like the other litter boxes that have killed cats.

Which brand litter are you using? I’ve tried several different brands and they all seem to be dumping almost 1/2 the litter that’s in the box and not just the poop or clumped up pee. It’s so frustrating. Please help!

Hi! I use Dr. Elsey’s litter. I actually find that if I overfill the litter box this happens to me too. I’d recommend leaving a little under an inch of space between the litter and the top of the line, if that makes sense. I find that leaves plenty of litter for Mika to dig/bury and prevents dumping.

I have this exact litter "robot" as well. Just wondering, what litter you are using? I have tried Tidy Cat and the Up target clumping (lightweight) brands and both tend to pour out as the unit empties and often it sticks to the sides or bottom (the rubbery part that actually holds the litter).

I use Dr. Elsey’s litter! I do find that if I accidentally overfill the box, excess litter tends to pour out. I usually fill mine about an inch below the line, and I make sure to set my timer to at least 5 minutes so that the poop can harden, which helps prevents sticking.

I have three steel litter boxes. They should last a lifetime and beyond. I still have two plastic but steel is the way to go.

I've owned This litter box (Clean Pet Home) for just over 2 years. When I got it my kitten was 11 months old and he's a FOOLISH BOY!! He would JUMP In it as it was starting to go around!! THANKFULLY, it always stopped and resumed after he got out. NO danger to him. Also, nothing closes the kitty in should they be as foolish as he is. The rotation is slow enough so if the fool stayed in there, he'd had enough time to realize his error and gotten out with no damage to himself. There is a TIME DELAY you can set on your app to 1, 2 or 3 minutes. I use 2 neither he nor my almost 16 year old have had any issues. This runs Terrifically even now as it did on the first day. There is NO cat litter dust in my place. WONDERFUL and NO SMELL either!! As long as I clean the inside every 2-3 weeks it's a simple wipe out.

I wouldnt trust this, sensors can break or be faulty in the first place. With videos going around about cats death and auto litter boxes, its just safe to pass on it. We all chose to have our pets, take the bloody time to clean up after them or have them go outside.

Actually this box would be the safer ones for cats! The ones that are killing cats are the ones with the automatic doors that open and close but this one doesn't have that. The opening is always open so it won't shut on cats! The only thing that could happen is possibly rotate your cat in it and maybe scare them! Lol

This box does not rotate the same as the boxes with multiple brand names that has strangled some cats. Those boxes rotate up and the opening closes. Not the same here

I got this exact litterbox about 2 weeks ago. Every second clean the cleaning gets 'stuck' and doesn't complete without a reset via the app. Is there any known fix for this? I have found turning off the deordeizing toggle in the app helped it not fail every time but it gets stuck a lot....

Hmm, I haven’t experienced this but it might depend on what litter you’re using or how much you’ve filled it. Sometimes I notice when I overfill mine, the litter doesn’t filter out properly.

The box needs a 2.4ghz connection. Check your router settings. I had this issue also and I was able to set up for both 2.4 and 5ghz. The box will automatically sync with the 2.4 setting. Hope that helps.

WARNING these are EXREMELY dangerous for cats, multiple cats have had their necks caught in the automatic closing door, please research the product your going to buy and test it yourself before you let your cat use it, there are sensors that are supposed to stop the door if something applies pressure or if there is something in the way but the sensors are defunct.
