I was always under the impression that soft vore was just liking the idea of being inside someone, and hard vore was liking the idea of being digested

unrelated but there are also more types of vore. one of which is absorption vore which i find the strangest, i believe its someone being literally absorbed and becoming a part of someone. aka changed- (the only reason i know this is because i watched a video about the different types of vore years ago and i still remember it)

nope soft vore just mean no guro mostly most of the time if there digestion it will be implied or show whitout pain while hard is a mix between Vore and Masochisms whit some going into extreme what your thinking is Endo if its not endo they are mostly all lead to digestion Endo: Vore that does not end in the digestion of the prey. Prey is let out after a period of time. Hard Vore (HV): Engaging in Vore in which the prey is physically mutilated by the act of being consumed.

theres 2 angles on an axis for vore, nonfatal/regen/fatal, and soft/digestive/hard. You can be creative wit how you approach it. Regen Hard is kind of like if a monster ate deadpool, chewed him up and all, and he regenerated because all he needs is a single cell to do so. nonfatal digestive is like absorbing them and they become part of you, but they can still just leave when they or the pred want too. There was a comic I had seen where two friends intentionally magic-absorbed themselves into a 3rd friend, but then they shared the same body for 3 minds and they could control certain parts of the body, kinda like a two headed giant. nonfatal regen can also be done like a plant, say theres a person made of tarro root, that purple potato lookin thing. if they run a smoothie shop, they can just cut part off their tail off and toss it in the blender. doesnt hurt them (or does but they like it), and it'll probably come back.

as a vore enjoyer hard vore is like chewing and soft vore is swallowed whole. some people say hard digestion to describe death by digestion and soft digestion for like… the prey melting like ice cream but there’s a larger contingent of people who are horrified by digestion so they call what they like “safe vore” as opposed to “fatal vore”
