I remember seeing Jalen Hurts missing that free TD to Quez live and that's a totally fair criticism. He wasn't NFL wide open he was college wide open

This calls for running commentary: 1) Eagles/Rams, you are correct about everything. This _was_ the 1st game this season that the Eagles played like last season, Stafford started over-throwing late & Carter & Nacua are amazing. 2) Ravens/Steelers, nothing to add. 3) Goff _STILL _*_hasn't_* played Really Well against a Quality Defense! The Panthers' offense can't stay on the field & give their defense a rest. Goff has scored 3 total points in his last 2 games against Bellichick. He's no innovator & is 100% dependent upon Ben Johnson's schemes. 4) Bijan _IS_ amazing. He has quite the presence of mind to juggle the ball _while_ running for a TD. (Reminds me of how Purdy grabbed the fumble behind his back & then held it there, didn't risk losing it by thinking he need to hold it in front of himself). Ridder got fired up & stayed at that level. If he can do this on the road, I'm sold on him. But it still feels like he's being left to figure everything out himself, that the coaches there just run their plays & wait & see. Stroud continues as before. It was the *play-calling* that failed the Texans for once. 5) I'm no Matt Lafleur fan, but after Josh McD & Brandon Staley, Joe Barry is a close third for being banned from the league. *Then* we can get to Reich (who I think can redeem himself), McCarthy & Vance Joseph. Hey, how good is Todd Bowles looking now, eh? 6) The Bills lost Great Players to injury due to _jet-lag?_ Major Tragedy. I don't want to give the Jaguars _any credit_ for anything that game. They weren't facing prepared play. 7) Amazing how much better the Colts play without Frank Reich, eh? Especially their o-line. amazing how much worse that of Carolina is this season. Coincidence? AR5 needs to adjust to the fact that there aren't some light-weight college defenders out there. He can't blast through every defense at will. Now that Taylor got paid, Zach Moss has a career game? Irsay's gonna say something about this. 8) I'm angry that the Bengals returned to form against the Cardinals. Dobbs was looking great until this game. Nothin' else to add.

The Love throw was late and you're right there was a split second of opportunity at the top of his drop before he stepped up but it wasnt his fault all the way , watson couldve weight room and boxed out Robertson on that ball. Hindsight is 20/20 and they are young, over time they will improve their execution on such plays.

The Cowboys won the cointoss and deferred, if they had learned anything from their last two games against the 49ers they should not have deferred. They should have taken the ball and tried to make Brock Purdy start the game down by 7. Instead they let the 49ers start the game on offense while the Cowboys had multiple penalties on defense on San Francisco's opening drive. They Cowboys then failed to gain a single first down in the first quarter. From the second quarter onwards the 49ers adapted to the Cowboys' defense and scored a TD on five of their next six drives before calling off the dogs. Brutal coarching mismatch.

I feel bad for Russell Wilson because this game (worst of the year for him) was still better than almost all his games last year. He really has come back to answer criticism so well this year, but the whole rest of his team stepped back as he stepped up hahaha. Kinda makes what he's done disappear.

I agree on the Jared Goff stuff The Lions haven't made much sense to me as to why they have been so good. And I'm a Lions fan. I was never able to identify the high end upside on this team, and the offense more specifically. Especially in the pass game. Ben Johnsons been amazing. But it just flew over my head that Jared Goff is the upside. Because it's Jared Goff, he's the guy that we got on the back of the Stafford trade, who I thought the team was eventually going to replace. So it never occurred to me that he could be a great QB. But now that I acknowledge the possibility, I can see it and it exists. Like you said his play extention has been so much better, his pre and post snap processing is better. He's got a great arm. He and Ben Johnson are the ones elevating Josh Reynodls and Kalif Raymond. I don't think it's the other way around. Now I would like to see Goff keep this level of play up when Ben Johnson eventually leaves. But man Goffs been so good and I'm just gonna apologize for not believing in him. As of rn especially with Kyler and Rodgers out, why can't Goff be a top 10 guy rn? You could probably argue him as high as 7 or 8.

@@GamingCloudpaw66 the defense has been decent this year. Flores is coaching up the players and they're a pretty average unit. It really is a better team than last year. Just some atrocious luck and situational football. A rookie QB couldn't ask for a much better situation than what the Vikings can offer.

As I said, there was a defender on him at the top of his drop cause the Left Guard got destroyed. I think some QBs like Tua or Brady who are unique in throwing quick like that might stand in there and let it go but most QBs are gonna step up there and play it like Love did and I can't knock him for that.

59:55 they should do what is becoming a trend now and make him an edge rusher. Weve been seeing a ton of under sized, athletic edge rusher have success in this league, more and more everyday. Use him as a 3rd down blitzer or edge rusher, hes lengthy and athletic, i wouldnt trust him in the run, but again, 3rd down guy coming off the edge wide or keeping him as a blitzer could work if hes coached correctly. Isiah simmons is who im talking about by the way

I think the problem with NE Offensive line could be their o-line coach Adrian Clem. I’m a Steelers fan and we had him in 2021 when we had one of the worst o-lines I’ve ever seen and now the Pats line seemingly falls off a cliff. Just something to think about.

I don't think the Cousins era is over. Kirk Cousins has played great these past 2 seasons. Has it been all good? No. But I still would pick Kirk over a ton of other QBs who I don't agree should be above Kirk like Dak. People are going do what they do always with Minnesota and blame Kirk when the problem lies more with some boneheaded coaching decisions from Kevin O Connell when it came to time management. Although he's a great playcaller. Their defense is still young so they are still learning and they aren't going to be as dominant yet but some are really playing well like Ivan Pace. The problem is Minnesota's biggest draft picks on defense haven't broken out yet like Lewis Cine and Andrew Booth Jr.

On the will Mcdonald pick, even if you pick him, why not trade away another fringe edge rusher (Clemons, JFM). Or why not cut Lawson and use that money elsewhere. Picking Mcdonald just to make him a healthy scratch is so asinine. Another example of Joe Douglas not maximizing value, a big reason why they may not have a winning record in his 4 seasons
