A nice thing about Hampton Inns is that you know what you are getting. You know what to expect. They may be vanilla but vanilla can be comforting.

Hi Mark, awesome review! I think an aspect that you could add to your hotel reviews would be how wheel chair accessible they are and other accommodations etc

Stayed in the Hampton Inn Madison Square around the same time of year in 2019 and had the same impression. Nothing fancy, but solid hotel room and amenities. To think it costs $400 is absolutely insane though. I paid $141 TOTAL for my stay just 4 years ago.

Really useful video. I would suggest maybe do a short recommendation of essentials within walking distance. Laundrette, groceries, affordable options, that sort of thing. Well, affordable for NYC. You mentioned the bagel place but a name and 10 second clip showing it would be helpful. Price range is the other thing. I know that can vary wildly depending on time of year but a rough idea. I did look and sadly it won't show me for the dates I want.

For NYC that's a very good sized room. I've stayed in NYC in rooms half that size!
