another note about the autism moms, they always think autism is a bad thing ?? i’m autistic and i wished i wasn’t until i sat down, educated myself, and stopped listened to what mostly adults were telling me. not only are they spreading false information, but they’re also making an entire generation of autistic kids feel like there’s something wrong with them.
@nomoretwitterhandles3 жыл бұрын
Not just one entire generation, actually. Autism has always been looked down upon. Autism has always been seen as "taboo", a "behavioral disorder", a "demon in the body", etc. This hatred towards autism isn't new. Autism moms do not deserve to have children, ever. Autism is much more common than people think it is. It's just the way people are wired. It's the same as a child being born with a physical mutation; shit just happens. That doesn't make them any less human. Doesn't make autistic kids any less human either. We need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves, feeling like we were "born wrong" or "defective". Neurotypicals will never understand as much as we do. We are simply better.
@imnothollytoday3 жыл бұрын
When I took education classes in college, it was very impressed upon us that people with autism are very valuable members of society because, firstly, they are people, and secondly they are NOT neurotypical. And that is valuable. Individuals with autism see the world in a different way and that is not at all a bad thing! I wish more people would see it that way.

@@bananabrain2996 Right?! She watched some half-baked bullshit stuff on social and decided that the proteins introduced in a vaccine were transmittable and therefore dangerous. The thing is, if you get the virus, you're exposed to the very same spike proteins AND the ACTUAL coronavirus. So she seemingly would rather be around the actual virus than the residual proteins it creates. That seems like flawed logic to me. What's noteworthy in all of this for me though is that she was otherwise a very logical, rational person, but she decided vaccines were to blame for some learning disabilities her son had. COVID makes *some* people act very irrationally. Anyway, thanks for your reply!

I'm autistic, and let me tell you: Each time I get a vaccine, the autism skyrockets. I'm currently at 350% autism. Edit: Holy shit, this blew up. I should explain my numbers so you can calculate your autism percentage as well. Each new year, your autism goes back down to a base 100%. The number it goes up by is based on the severity of the vaccine. With the COVID shots, it's a full 100% each, so that brings me up to 300%. The yearly flu shot is only 50% because it's distributed every year but has enough changes in its composition to count as a number.

Trans and queer people don't want to force you say things like "gender non-conforming partner" or "birthing person" (which I saw a bunch of conservatives make a stink about). The first one isn't real but isn't going to be like something you would say if your partner DOES conform to a specific gender; less gender-specific words aren't meant to totally replace the words you use, just to provide alternatives when the "traditional" ones wouldn't suit. Yet, for some reason, a lot of neo-cons think "adding to the language" means "this is a 1984 hellscape where you are telling me what I can and cannot say".

My late grandpa was a survivor. He and his sister just got off the train and were likely going to the chambers because of how young they were. She grabbed his hand and ran into the forest while the gate was still open for the train. They hid there for a little bit and survived on stale bread that they rehydrated with urine before finding sanctuary in a Polish family's farm where they managed to hide out until the war ended. This probably wouldn't have been possible if they were set to the camps earlier in the war. My late grandma managed to survive by sheer luck of her family fleeing to Canada before things got really bad in Romania. When my dad and his siblings were growing up, they had a German Sheppard and none of their dad's friends would ever come over because of their PTSD. Not sure why they had the dog to begin with, but my point is, this is not the same as the Holocaust.

Jacob if you DIDNT coordinate your nail polish to match your dad's shirt, please do not correct me I have never felt more intergenerational love than I have while watching this video. I could NOT stop smiling from 0:01, my face fucking hurts xD

I knew it was your dad the second he started talking! The similarities are uncanny! “I wished I saw these videos before I got vaccinated because I wouldn’t now. They make valid points” 😂😂😂

I felt like Hunger Games drew from anti-capitalism, so to see these right wingers referencing it for anti-vax stuff is contradictory to me.
@stormfischerr3 жыл бұрын
oh the hunger games is DEFINITELY anti capitalist, the villains are literally capitalists and the heroes are poor people who dismantle the system
@lanac57933 жыл бұрын
@@stormfischerr i mean yeah in theory but it's still one of the highest rating movie/movies. I think it's more like escapism into a fantasy world where everything is seemingly worse than in our world and like woo revolution, destroy the evil people bc we'll never have it in real life

It's like how the right wingers try to claim The Matrix too, red = truth and all that bs, and the directors are like "yeah the Matrix is a metaphor for being trans" but they just conveniently ignore that.

Not to mention it was initially adopted as a real-world symbol of solidarity and defiance by Thai protestors resisting a military coup. It's been a part of movements all over Asia. Somehow I doubt a gaggle of white, conservative, anti-vax Americans would be very supportive of non-white folks protesting lethal abuses of power. Just a hunch.

The best part about the nurse claiming that the key sticking to her means she's been magnetized is that keys are made of brass which means they aren't magnetic at all.
