This video can be considered a requiem for burnout. Although, I don’t think Burnout’s revival would come across as the old Burnout descending from the Heavens giving us the thrills of the past, it would probably be more like EA digging up Burnout’s corpse and pumping it full of microtransactions before shocking it back to life like Frankenstein and shoving its half-baked remains onto the market as a quick cash grab. I'm honestly impressed you didn't try to use any of the speed racer movie clips whatsoever. There's so many moments here where i thought i'd see that kind of meme since this game lends itself to being as batshit crazy as that movie. That said, good video. It was full of tons of ups and downs and i really respect the amount of work that goes into something like this. We do not speak of 2012. Ever. Criterion tried to match the legacy of one of, if not the greatest NFS titles ever made from the franchise's greatest era, and failed horribly. The ONLY thing I'll give Criterion is that Hot Pursuit in 2010, was good.

@@nixoproto7545The worst part of BPR is that they fixed none of the bugs on PC. If the conditions on your computer aren't fucking pristine, the game will crash, and crash a lot. There are some mods to make it better, but they don't fix everything, sadly. Ironically, it plays more stable on my Steam Deck than it does on my pc.
