What I’m trying to say is sometimes tried and true works better than the newsy shiny object! What do you think?

That ballpoint hammer is a thing of beauty ! 😮

Engraving hammer. I made it myself as die engraver apprentice at L’viv jewelry factory in 1988. From a blank piece of tool steel all the way to engraved personal crest, including the lathe turning, milling and heat treat. Carved the handle out of Buk tree that only grows in Western Ukraine. The Master would not have taught me if I failed. And it has a small brothe, but the handle broke. I made it too “elegant”

@@CuttingBoardRx That's a fitting story for a beautiful tool ! That took some serious skills. I got so much things to learn on that part... I think I need a garage 😁 You got stories to tell, my friend 😉

I've tried everything to get my MSI, stitch and amphibian to fail via spine whack, and it doesn't. I used everything from a tree to a Japanese white oak boken. I guess I got lucky. I do prefer carrying my socom elite tho.

Whoever is reading this… “Some” Early MSI models had experienced luck failure with a spine whack. New models “Do Not”. There summed up the truth. Can’t believe everything this clown says! 🤡

@somethnaboutnothn4928 Yeah, I have multiples now of the stitch and the MSI. NONE have this issue. They are solid as a rock. One of newer stitch has a tiny bit of lock stick, but I don't have lady fingers, so I don't mind.

@@somethnaboutnothn4928well I have bad news for you because you can’t believe everything a giant company who doesn’t care about you says. Have a good time in life believing everything you read online or hear. Good luck.
