I have a Switch Lite, 2DS XL, and 2DS. My library is growing for 3DS games. My Switch Library has mainly Nintendo exclusives. Most of the AAA ports to the Switch, I stay away from. I have my gaming laptop for those.

I just bought the 2DS a couple of days ago and honestly it brings me back to my childhood playing my gameboy. I can say it's worth it depending on some people who want that nostalgia factor especially after years now as it gives a retro vibe. I can honestly say I'm loving the 2DS this 2020!

I have a 2DS story. Got it around Christmas 2015, and enjoyed the heck out of it for a couple years, then it happened. Some soda got knocked onto it and made it inside. It pretty much still worked for a day then totally stopped working. Fast forward to the end of July 2020, I find it in my game tote, and decide to plug it in. The Orange light comes on, it hasn't did that since 2017. I try turning it on, it does! Still working 5 days later or today.

Man that case is just awesome, I’ve seen every one of your 2ds videos just because of that case, but you can’t find it anymore, maybe you could make a video testing the different 2ds accessories that you can find easily in 2020 for the 2ds, for example the silicon cases that you can buy on eBay.

2ds's are great value machines with a lot of good games on it. And those good games rarely exceed £25; its the ultimate budget gaming system, in my opinion. And really, some of the games on it are amazing- ALBW/N64 Zeldas, Fire Emblem Awakening, the only modern Kid Icarus game, third party stuff like SMT4 and a portable virtual console.

I buyed 2DS (in red&white colors) around the first days of 2020, for just 99 euros, and I keep playing it!!! I don't care if there's Nintendo Switch (which is still too over-prized for me), or even the New 3DS (who will ever buy a console with just... 3, or 4 new games???), for me 2DS is Nintendo's most underrated system. I don't think it's so heavy as they say (I'm getting used to it and it IS convenient), and I'm not so much of a 3D lover (my vision might got damaged with 3D as well), so I believe that 2D was really for the best, and yes, I truly believe that is better than 3DS!!! My only complaint is perhaps that its battery doesn't last for long, and I have to recharge it often (especially when I play pokemon, lol), but I know that it can't be helped (it's not the first, and either the last Nintendo's handheld console with that kind of problem, anyway).

I love the 3ds line of systems and have over 200 games for the 3ds and ds, i have every new 3ds released in aus. I use it more than my switch. But with out being blunt, you have remade this video quite a few times. You should make fav games for it ( i think you may have done this one) but could do your not well know fav games, stories about your system and launch games and so on. I really like your videos. Your quality is through the roof. I get sad going into stores and seeing nothing or very little left for it. But people like us with a for a passion for the systems can keep it alive especially you as you have a KZbin channel

I still think the 2ds still holds up pretty well today! I bought mine back in July 2018 and ever since I’ve had a blast on it. I’ve probably played more time on this console than my switch. I love playing Zelda, Mario, and Animal crossing on this very cheap system. It’s shocking that it has such a low price! 79,99 and can play most 3ds games? What a steal.

I bought a 2DS with a Mickey Mouse case. And that 2DS has gone with me around the world: Rome, Paris, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Barcelona, San Francisco, etc, etc. I know the Switch is the stronger console but the GB virtual console alongside Smash 4 and Project Mirai are more than enough for me :)

Got my 2ds when it first came out I saw it on TV at my granny and grandas house and they said I could get that for my birthday, so we went to the shop and my favourite colour was red so I picked the red and white one and when I got home I set it up, put in my name and back in the box it goes waiting for my birthday was so hard, I already had a ds lite but was due a new one, favourite console of all time for me and I still play it to this day

I bought a 2ds xl last december 2019 and I had a blast, coming from home consoles particulary the wii and ps4 I'm being more drawn to handheld gaming sinc our last handhelds were the psp and gba. My brother also got hooked and bought a 3ds, we are currently playing games we should have played a few years ago. Now that I have a switch lite I still go back to playing my 2ds xl, and I guess it's about time to buy our youngest sibling a 2ds because imo the 3ds family still have a number of the best games in the handheld consoles category. I only have 3 games on my switch lite and so far only BOTW has blown my mind with the game physics. I probably wont be introduced to other nintendo titles such as animal crossing and tloz if it weren't for my 2ds xl.

The KEKW Guy oh man. So if you get home brew and there are tutorials on KZbin ..I suggest checking out..you can get any game you want for free. If that’s not enough of a reason to do it I don’t know what is. Literally everything. That’s how I first tried animal crossing and fire emblem..

That's so cool! The $99 New 2DS XL is an awesome deal, especially since it can play so many games. I think Nintendo opt-ed to pull the original 2DS and leave the New 2DS XL as the remaining model since the price difference is only $20.

the right stick on my switch lite just broke and my dad is hopefully going to be sending it to nintendo to get it fixed so in the mean time i have to play on my 2ds. And so far im having a really fun time! Im replaying all the games i played on my 2ds and its really relaxing. I got an original 2ds after my 3dsXL developed a crack in the hinge then broke. The original 2ds is incredibly durable and if (like me) you plan on keeping it forever, the original model 2ds is the only one that will actually last that long under continuous use. I really wish the "new" 2ds XL was made the same way, it has a much better hinge than the original 3dsXL did but I wldve prefer the non folding design option. As for being worth it in 2020...absolutely yes, there are tons of great games on 3ds as well as the massive old DS catelog of games. Also there are some really great eshop 3ds games that are criminally underrated and overlooked. If you happen to own a "new" 3ds/2ds model there is a INCORRECTLY low rated over shoulder resident evil-ish survival horror game all about ufos , mutated animals and a mountain town frozen in time. It was released in 2020 but has been overlooked and poorly recieved due to a mistakenly broken version being launched and then reviewed and trashed. It has since been fixed and is a very fun and unique game that nobody knows about. It's called "silver falls: 3 down stars" and it's very much worth a look now that version 1.3 is out. There will be more updates to improve the game even more, AND there will be at least 1 more silver falls series games released this year but it will be for ALL 3ds models
