The F1 has some very nice advantages which are MTI with IFF, target indication in hud, alot of ECM, good multi role capeabilities, supercruise, good fuel economy. This all is just quite low on the priority list in RB but actually makes this plane one of the best ones in its BR in SIM mode.

I had a very positive grinding experience using this plane. It does everything good enough but doesn't excel in anything. Which makes it decent to fly. I now happily fly the M2K, favorite plane to fly in WT.

@@Fortheweak13 2 2000 lbs bombs, 2 Magick 2's, 1 530E is the ideal loadout. The two 2000 lb bombs will take out a base in full and then you get an extra A2A missile on top of the magick 2's.

Ive been having a blast in it. Lots of 4+ kill games in 11.3 or below matches, uptiera its basicly the magic 2s getting kills. Its been pretty good over all for me.

Of the 30 or so matches I've played with it since Magic 2 got buffed, about 90% of them are full uptiers. In a downtier sure the magics are good, but you still need to be able to maneuver well to use them at their peak, and this thing's flight performance is still godawful.

PD radar and HMD with 4 aim7f’s and 4 aim9g’s while carrying enough bombs to destroy multiple bases or enough rockets to destroy a base (rockets give better rewards per base if you didn’t know). Mirage radar missiles are terrible, PD with aim7f’s is a million times better and it has 4 of them instead of 2. 7f’s are also better than magic 2’s overall but even the aim9g’s are some of the best rear-aspect missiles in the game. It’s easily better

The Super 530F's are definitely pretty mid simply due to their lack of any resistance to countermeasures. But I will say, it is quite the feeling when you STT someone at altitude in pulse and see when they pop countermeasures that they have no chaff. The devilish grin you get as you realize there is no way they're dodging the missile you're about to shoot that them is truly something else. Those Magic-2's being able to face 10.3 on a frame as capable as the F.1 also has to be one of the funniest jokes I have seen from high tier jets. Things are just disgusting.

I have been playing this plane for awhile now and the way I play it is - I carry 2 magics - 1 530F, 1 530E and 1 gun pod. The 530Fs are super heavy and even the one gunpod makes a big difference in performance. I launch my 530F at a target up high and for some reason I keep finding people who dont notice it from below - dont flare chaff - or dont even carry chaff and end up getting a kill, if it doesnt hit well at least I've shedded my heavy missile. The E I kinda keep for situational stuff - if you know the right time to use it, it will do its job and being smokeless it sneaks up on people. After that I go down into the furball and brawl with magics and gunpods and because of the gun pod you get more spread and just shred people. With the buff they gave it its honestly ok now. I have decent matches and can actually make good money and RP so, on sale its worth picking up.

Grinded french rank 4-7 with this before the flight performance change, what i did was take min fuel(think it is 8-10 min i dont remember), rush to a base and use whatever fuel i have left to try and get 1-2 kills in and it worked pretty well for me. Still its only about 8k rp per match on average but considering its french id say its pretty good

I play the mirage F1 with the gunpods, it works quite nice. Since the S530F are useless and you want to keep speed so you won't turn the gunpods work quite nice for catching mid turns.

The 530E is a mid range missile, if you're firing it closer than 5km then you're kinda doing it wrong. It isn't slow, it just takes a couple seconds to get up to speed, and it'll hit targets well out of range of the Magics.

No. R-73 is just impossible to doge, cause it doesnt care how you launch it, they can even do 180 sometimes and still hit. Aim-9M is not as good (cause it is just aim9b mod after all), but both are impossible to outpull unless player launching them did it so wrong, that even these amazing missiles cant compensate the skill issue. Or if Aim9M was launched extremely close and you just got out of its seeker before its even activated.

After last few patches Radar missiles are pretty great and if someone decide to fly too high its 100 perc. kill also magic's 2 are incredible fast in game so you can kill even good player. Very very regularly i got like 3 kills in this plane so if youre newbie i think secure 1 kill for game wont be a problem. If you avoid F16 youre master on air. I like F1C.

You're forgetting something The Mirage 2000C is using the S530D, while the F1C use the S530F The D version have a Pulse Doppler (CW) seeker, while the F only have standard pulse radar ( so go stupid when see chaff)

First, I am French. Bear with my biased experience okay? Worse, my dad was a fist-fighter, mechanic and machinist who joined the French Army just before WW2 started. So, when the Frenchie high-treason generals surrendered, my dad and his brother decided to fight resistance. I was a super passionate of Fighter planes and GI Joes, and one day he finally answered my question "how many nazis did you kill dad?" he said "I don't know, but if I were paid a nickel for every bullet I fired directly at them, I''d be multi, multi millionaire". He gave my mom a Totenkopf ring for fun. The biggest, baddest air force at the end of WW1 was France, bar none. They won, and as French do, they celebrated for years, created the Maginot line (designed by idiots who never fired a shot in anger), and employed sloths as "intelligence". It took Dassault a few years, but they did right with the Mirage III which was a formidable enemy to the MiGs, tried the tailed F1C (I never liked it), to finally re-discover the tail-less delta, with canard in the Rafale (as you know, the 4000 was fantastic but very expensive and large). Aside from Bordeaux, Camembert and Champagne, nice fashion and beautiful babies, often we do things right and so was the Rafale. Being a blue collar myself, I value practicality and proofs, and if you carefully read up on Red Flags friendly encounters (including Phoenix and Dubai) and if you watch the kill / be killed boards, you'll see that one of the most effective dog fighters in the world right now if the Rafale. I want to hear your opinion on this.. i have better luck spearheading than playing like a vulture in f1c.. by the time i come from the side mostly the team is dead. while the performance is bad to kite properly, 252 flares comes in handy. 5sec auto for prechaffing and manual for flaring ir missile, the only problem is dodging gun. And because you are spearheading bringing allies behind you, its become a bit easier to dodge which only leave the blackout problem.

Drag it to low alt and then stick to what your plane is better at. Below 2km/~6k ft the XP-50 is average at best. Below average climb, slightly above average turn and speed. Use the below average climb, aka power generation, to your advantage if you can. Once you get an XP-50 slow it is more or less dead if your plane turns or climbs better and you stick to maneuvers where you use that advantage. The XP-50 really is only above average 3km+ and it is great above 4km. The higher above 4km you get the better the XP-50 is against everything it faces. This is why it's air spawn is so powerful. It's air spawn means that when you first encounter it, unless it dove after someone, you are encountering it at an alt that the XP-50 has a notable performance advantage over you. There are very few fighters that can take the XP-50 on 4km+ and win even somewhat reliably so basically don't fight them up there. It is a losing fight from the start for most fighters.

No. The 109F-4 can be competitive-ish up to 5km but truth be told the engine of the 109 doesn't have enough of a power advantage 3.5-4km+ to really give the 109F-4 much of a chance to fight the XP-50 above 4km. Even down 2km and below it is a difficult fight for a 109F-4 but down there the 109F-4 has a bigger p/w advantage over the XP-50 meaning that it is at least an easier fight to win. Ultimately beating the XP-50 is about not fighting on it's terms which means not fighting it above 4km in most fighters. Learning how to fight from a positional disadvantage will go a long way into making it an easier fight given that the XP-50 gets an air spawn when it shouldn't. Combine that with the relatively low rip speed of the XP-50 and the fact that the XP-50 locks up sooner than most would expect and the XP-50 isn't actually as dangerous as most other US fighters would be if they were above you.

@@arncliffejoya1778 Best of luck to you. Truth be told the XP-50 vs 109F-4 is a difficult fight to win for the 109F-4 no matter what. Lower alt gives the 109 a higher chance to win but the fact that the XP-50 turns slightly better and is faster in level flight just makes it a difficult fight to win no matter what. It is one of the hardest fights for the 109F-4 to win. If the XP-50 didn't have it's air spawn it would be starting the fight under the 109F-4 and would have to earn the advantage through better play. A much more fair proposition given that the XP-50 is arguably the better plane overall. I'm not yet sold on it actually being 4.3 vs 4.0 better as I want to see it without it's air spawn first to see how that changes in match dynamics.
