Ha! Right. I really felt happy working on it. What wasn't filmed was that I took this car to work to start getting some miles in and find the other quirks, and my splitter broke on the freeway. I had to pull on the side and fix it with the tools I had in the car (lots of tape). That was so unfortunate. So now waiting for parts and time to fix the splitter so i can drive it again and shake it down... We are getting there...

I was driving muscle cars - American- ss396 super sport,, road runner 69 ,, 57 bel air,etc. I bought a Toyota pickup,, and moved to Seattle from cali and I sold my American cars. The gts was fun to drive,, and loved it. I’m going to buy a seventh gen. Yes, they are magic 🪄 🎉

I live in europe and i have a celica gts automatic so i would like to ask please - 1.Whats the cost oh the transmission oil per liter ? 2.What type of MT-90 did you use ? 3.Where can i buy it from ?

For the aluminium use a fine sanding pad and wd40

Ideally, the level should be set with the vehicle horizontal.

The gear box is made of aluminium and thats oxidation, it happens with wear and tear not harmful, can be resolved by vapour blasting or a whippy wheel buffer Usually seen on aluminium wheels once the paint has corroded

Thank you for your input! That's sad but also I guess it's what I get for leaving the car in an outdoor garage that isn't really sealed... I would like to get it looking OEM again!

I spray my car once a year with acf50 I also use it on my motorbikes I live in Ireland where we have four seasons in one day and it works well

How is it shifting now after a few months? Did you notice any changes?

Better! Less crunch on my 4th to 5th, feels notchy but isn't crunchy. I think it still needs synchros , though.

Did the transmission stop hard shifting? I have that problem right now
