Sometimes you gotta break away from what's trending and do your own thing, lolol. Gonna be completely honest... this was a video I've had on stand-by for a long time just to use when I didn't have a better video ready, lol. The upload I had planned for today had some issues with uploading. Although this is not very new, I wanted to review it because stick foundations are kind of a big deal right now (thanks, Make Up Forever). And I wanted to see if this could be something that could be given some hype and buzz too. If you've tried this foundation, let me know your thoughts below! Sorry about this being so random!
UPDATE: I do not use this foundation anymore. I never fully jumped on board with this. It does not cover well when I break out. There are tons of better options in the drugstore out there. :/

Thank you for this video! I like dry foundation because I have oily skin. Oily foundation makes my makeup cakey so I am very picky on choosing cosmetic.

I don't think contamination is an issue. You remove the product from the stick as you apply it to the skin. Much better than say Colorstay whipped, or anything with a doefoot applicator.

It took me a while to like stick foundations. I haven't tried this one, but like the Bobbi Brown one I have. But definitely took a few uses before I really liked it.

It's too bad it really work out for you and into ur routine because it really does look very good! Your skin looks flawless. But I like a full coverage as well so I understand. I think it's helpful to get a few different shades, if possible, and just return what doesn't work for you. You're trying to match your face with your body, so keep that in mind. You want everything to be cohesive, and you want your face makeup to just naturally flow into your body without any line of demarcation. The easy part is figuring out if you're fair, light, medium, or dark. I call that your "depth." So, once you know your depth, you want to figure out your undertone. Cool, warm, neutral, or olive. Look at your face, neck, and chest, and figure out what tones you see most: if you see a lot of pink/rosy/red tones, you're cool-toned. Most foundations/concealers that are cool-toned will be labeled with words like "rosy," "peach," or have a "C" with it. If you see more yellow/golden tones, you're warm. Words to look for are "golden, warm, sand, or W." Brands are pretty good at describing their shades if you look at them online. Neutral is a mixture of both. If you're olive, you have a slight olivey-greenish hue, and in that case, warm or neutral tones can sometimes work for you if you have a hard time finding ones that work. I'd recommend going to the store and picking out a neutral undertone, warm undertone, and cool undertone from the same line (maybe the Loreal True Match line, which has one of the broadest, most easily-laid out ranges at the drugstore), and figure out your undertone from there. Hope this helps.
