Hey y’all! In today’s video we are diving into the in-house Revolve brands that I think all resellers should know! I have experience selling clothes online by these brands in my reseller career. And I have come across them while thrifting and have made a lot of money selling them, so I want you to be familiar with them as well! I sell these brands on all platforms including Poshmark, Ebay, Tradesy, and Mercari.

Your top just took my breathe away. Those sleeves! I knew of revolve from some bloggers that I follow but I never got into it specifically because I didn't like their marketing. It wasn't surprising that the creators were POC because I understand that not everyone is focused on inclusivity and they are in fact a business first and foremost. It just makes me as a consumer pause and reflect as to whether I'd spend my money on brands that don't reflect POC like me. I appreciate the information and challenge you to continue bringing in topics like this into your content.

New HAPPY subscriber and black woman and I could care less about what models these men choose for THEIR COMPANY I’m looking at the clothes and I’m tired of white people feeling so sad guilty nervous not knowing what to say because of this “climate” which I hope will fade away soon. I tell white folks don’t try to handle me apologize to me pander to me...for me and I can only speak for ME I find much of that condescending..However I know some folks feel different but that’s ok. OK...ENOUGH OF THAT..will you be doing any men’s clothes or maybe your boyfriend will do men’s clothes? Looking to ease into that market as well. Love your content I turned my daughter on to your channel she loves your passion and love for fashion❤️sorry for the corny rhyme 🤦🏽‍♀️

Wow. Thank you so much. This “white guilt “ needs to stop unless you personally are guilty of something without being told what to be guilty about. Black folks don’t need to be pandered to like this. This only fosters division and fear around different races about saying something wrong. Thank you. People just don’t comprehend it.

A. N. YOU ARE WELCOME! This is such a scary time and walking on egg shells in fear of “offending someone” is beyond dumb. I take people on as individuals not one big clump of color...there is more than enough bigotry and hate on both sides...I thought color blindness was the original end game. Oh well praying the pandering will stop...not a good look🙄💕

Thanks for all the information!! Your videos are super helpful! I didn’t fully understand your reasoning for why resellers should not be asked where they source their items? As a new seller myself, suggestions and ideas there would be quite helpful. I haven’t seen any of these brands in thrift stores near me. I’d love to hear from anyone who has some insights on this

Hi! I have been reselling for a bit and the idea of "reseller etiquette" is a fancy term for gatekeeping their sources. The idea is that if they don't share the location of where they purchase their items from, people won't go there. This idea is insanely illogical because a. not everyone is in the state she is in b. assuming that we all do live in the same state as her, not everyone will go the same time/day as her. c not everyone will have the same luck as her. d. not everyone has the same knowledge as her, i.e won't source the same. Sharing locations cuts into her profits.

THANK YOU for this video!!! So informative! I heard about Revolve but never paid close attention, as I didn't think I would find Revolve brands in my area. In a Bins trip, I found a REALLY cute dress and picked it up for myself for summer. It didn't fit, so I thought I would put it in my Poshmark closet.. The brand was Tularosa. Lol! I had no idea it was a Revolve brand. Just picked it up for myself based on cute style. I've been trying to learn more about Revolve brands since then.

I remember finding out about Revolve back in 2007 in my 20s as a trendy young shopper. I spent soooo much money on a Standard James Perse shirt (which is so funny now). No idea how I found out about it. Probably because Nicole Richie wore something from there and I loved it. I would also add LPA and The Great. Good list!

Hi Mogi, would you do a video now not on exactly where you source your items, But guiding sellers on how to go about finding other sources to find things like Revolve clothing ect... Like how you go about your research to find other sources and other sources that exist out there to find these items, as I like your channel and am interested in your content. I feel like when a video like this is put out, it is helpful to give guidance on how to source these items or the different avenues available to source these items and how to find them. That would be appreciated as not everyone had your savvy biz background and they look to you as a guide. You can share how you source or how you can begin finding ways to source these items without giving away your exact sources if you are truly wanting to be a resource of guidance and help to others. Hoping you make a sourcing guide video or sourcing research how to video to begin find brands like revolve ect that covers all available opportunities not just arbitrage, or thrift but other ways you do would be more helpful than learning brand names Really enjoying your videos so far! Thank you for showing math equations on how to figure out some of these numbers , what to price at . Ect.. that is helpful.

If the customer is A White Female 20-30 yrs old, then that's who they want to target. If not "enough" POC buy their clothes, why should the company appeal to them. What they could do is branch off and start a site that features "ethnic" styles with POC as models.

Hi Mogi! Very smart of you NOT to disclose where you get your inventory, you would be shooting yourself in the foot doing that!! It's hard work to find the right sourcing strategies to have a profitable business, and I think many entrepreneurs these days make the mistake of giving out too much information. I understand they are trying to help others but they can put their profits in jeopardy for doing that. Great video! Landy @afirlfromparis on posh ☺️

Yeah but on the same token, she obviously has a good source but she doesn't want to share while at the same time making it harder for resellers that do not have her sources or her background business knowledge to find these dresses at thrift now that it will be more competitive. Its not operating from a mind set of scarcity but just etiquette as she stated, she does the video to get more traffic to her business drying up other sellers ability to source items, and im not talking about me personally because I only found revolve 2x at thrift, just in general. Sellers with 6 figures put out this content to get more traffic but it really does not help a lot of resellers in the long run, if your going to do a video like this then at least give ideas of other opportunities and ways to go about finding how to source these items if you want to be truly helpful, realize not everyone is as biz savvy as you based on her background and that way she can truly help, without revealing her actual sources, she can share how she does her research to find other sources so she can truly help others instead of making the pickings slim for those that arent 6 figure sellers , if she truly wants to help and educate others, and if she does read this I hope she understands and makes a video on other ways to source, and how she does her research to find other opportunities to find clothing like NWT Revolve clothing to help people that may not know how to do this if her intention is to guide others, this is possible without revealing her specific sources and not having a scarcity mindset of her sources

Hey Jerel, I'm assuming you're asking that question because the idea of someone having advantages based on skin color seems unfair. And I agree with you. So, I suggest we focus on the very real and damaging economic, social and political disadvantages that people of color--specifically black people--have experienced in this country since it's founding solely based on their skin color.
