My only point of contention is how much British land was taken in the treaty, I would imagine the Germans would avoid taking excess British possessions, especially bigger ones in east and Southern Africa, given it would easily make them a mortal enemy when they could have been turned to isolation if escaping relatively unscathed. Otherwise I like everything about this one and am eager for the continuation of the series.

How does attacking the Netherlands make a shred of sense when A) the Netherlands already let Germany move troops through it to attack Belgium despite being one of the countries guaranteeing Belgian neutrality B) they now have to waste troops and time fighting the Netherlands C) fighting to gain access to the railroads (that they already had access to) doesn’t speed up their path to Paris, it just delays their advance on Belgium that’s between the Netherlands and France anyways

I would like to point out that the border of Bulgaria and the ottoman empire is wrong. Bulgaria owned the southern part of western Trace, including Alexandroupoli, then known as Dedeagach and the ottoman empire owned only the northern chunk of western Trace, which they gave to Bulgaria in 1915. Regardlessly I am excited about the series!

I understand that. The problem is that I made the border on an older map, then I added rivers and mountains and a lot of stuff do not line up. For example check the Danube border between Bulgaria and Romania. Also I'm glad you're excited for the series!

One thing about Karl I of Austria is that he never wanted a "Danubian federation" he only proposed this after the U.S. declared that they wanted self determination, Karl actually held more to the idea of creating a third crown in the Balkan for the southern Slavs.

LoreDad didn't come up with the idea of multi-part series. I have been requested to do such thing before he started uploading. Still I want to give credit to him, as I took inspiration from his videos, copying the title format for example. It is almost assured for Italy to join the Central Powers at the last second as in our timeline the Austrians offered italian the italian speaking part of south Tyrol if Italy remained neutral and there were a lot of negotiantions between Italian and Austrian diplomats to decide the price of an Italian entry in the war on the side of the Central Powers. These negotiations were however cut short due to the hate the italian goverment and monarchy had of Austria and because almost every Italian general and strategist was sure of an Entante victory, leading to Italy joining the Entante. So yes, in this timeline the goverment would be adviced by it's generals to join the Central Powers, leading to Italy gaining Savoy Nice Corsica and Tunisia.

Almost all of the Montenegrin coast (except the cities of Ulcinj and Bar) were under the Venezian Empire which was annexed by Austria after the Napoleonic wars. The Montenegrin King, Nikola I, specificly said that Montenegro's goals in this war, was to retake those territories, plus Herzegovina (now a part of Bosnia)

I highly doubt Germany would fracture Russia that much, IRL during the treaty of brest-litovsk they only initially negotiated for Poland and The Baltics to become independent, and even then the Russians ruled by the communists, who were anti-war, were reluctant to give up that much. Finland and Ukraine pretty much only became independent because they had declared and fought for their independence before the treaty was signed. The Caucasus would for sure then become Ottoman, but maybe not in its entirety as even IRL it didn't. Good video though, really well made on all technical aspects.

@@rewriting-history Well i understand your strategy it may work but it's just that when i watch videos like that i notice how hoi4 is indeed a good game it is a pretty realistic simulator of how warfare really works especially when the strategies you presented were the exact same i would come up with if it was an hoi4 game, so hoi4 essentially gave me any type of real sense in how strategic warfare works lol anyways about this idea that you have idk but personnaly in my opinion i would try to embrace it even a little more maybe try to mix hoi4 with your content in some way or idk, i feel like an extremely important thing to grow a large channel on youtube is, apart from a good content ofc(which i think you already have), an unique self character, some thing that when the spectator looks at immediatly makes them remember of your channel

I feel like Britain would lose neither Gibraltar nor Malta as these were of similar importance to the suez to the Empire, as they needed bases for shipping in the Mediterranean. Malta could maybe be lost though it’s a stretch but Gibraltar would be fought for tooth and nail just as much as the Suez Canal, maybe even more.

All of these coins' holes were man-made. Wallets didn't exist back in the day, so people made holes in their coins and tied a string to it, making it easy to carry. Since it was silver, it could also been used as jewlery neckless

This is my idea: If Prague was the capital city of Habsburg monarchy, then in year 1619, durig the Bohemian Revolt in Prague, then the rovelters conquered the capital city of Habsburg monarchy - Prague and Ferdinand 2nd surrendered and Frederick 5th of Palatinate become king of the Habsburg monarchy. In year 1685 when Frederick's grandson Charles 2nd died without sons, his brother-in-law (brother of his wife) Christian 5th Danish and Norwegian king became king of Danubian kingdom (Habsburg monarchy). In reality in year 1740 Frederick 2nd (Prussian king) attacked Silesia because of destability of Habsburg monarchy and because of someone's non-recognition of Maria Theresa as queen, but in this alternative history it didn't happened, because Oldenburg monarchy (Habsburg monarchy and Denmark-Norway) was stable, everyone recognize Christian 6th as king and Oldenburg monarchy was more times bigger than Prussia. In year 1814 after the unsucceful Norwegian war of indepence the Oldenburg monarchy became federation of three states - Norway, Denmark and Danubia. After 50 years in year 1867 the federak state Danubia splits into 2 federal states - Bohemia and Hungary. In this alternative history duke Franz Ferdinand wasn't assassinated, but successor to the throne and first born son of Christian 10th - Frederick instead. The great war was going on just like in Reality. If the great war win Triple Alliance, then Knut Christian (second born son of Christian 10th) ruled the Denmark-Norway and the part of Oldenburg monarchy in Central Europe (Federal states Bohemia and Hungary) was split like in reality, but Silesia and North and South Lusatia were part of Czechoslovakia. Here is a small improvement to the lore Considering Gibraltar is a very important territory for the British to connect them with Egypt and by proxy their whole empire I have doubts the British would give it up so easily to a neutral country So instead what I would do is I would have Spain declare war A little bit after Italy And Capturing Gibraltar, forcing the British to give it up in the peace treaty
