@Shane B What I find amazing is that he was initially facing the Link in that interaction, meaning he couldn't use bair to get him off under normal circumstances. But then he immediately used a turnaround neutral b out of hitstun to use bair and get out of disadvantage

it is amazing and yet so simple , just quickly press back on the left control stick , make sure you release it immediately and tap b quickly then input a bair.

Wow. There's two types of Links: the neutral/fundamentals Link (T, Rido) and the flashy technical Link (RaZe, Scizor). Pair of Aces feels like a perfect mid-point between those playstyles.

The only other good link player I know of is Frenchtutor. I saw his gameplay with fatality. If you know of him, how would you compare with those you mentioned?

@@Reidbit Technical, but less so than RaZe / Scizor. Frenchtutor he's less about z-drop bomb combs and more about controling space with bomb 'trick shots'. There's also Izaw, whose playstyle feels like Scizor a bit.

If I had to guess id say it's probably because up air does exactly the same thing except it's faster and hits harder, which means the only real situation tilt would ever be used is either as a weird mix up or to hit someone on a platform from below to reduce the chance of immediate follow up
