This short video shows Rhayader Falls on the River Wye in wales in High Spate. It's an impressive rush of water. The falls were bigger once but in 1780 they were destroyed to make way for the bridge. Hope you enjoy.
A Bit of History
The town's Welsh name is Rhaeadr Gwy, which translates as 'Cataract on the Wye'. This might be a nit misleading because the said waterfalls are actually small. The former waterfall, described as 'Niagara in miniature', was destroyed in 1780 when the first bridge across the River Wye was erected at the western edge of town. From this we can only but imagine what they were like bit these give you an example.

We often think that there is only one story, that of our life. However, observation shows us the multitude of destinies, fights, decisions... The hike offers us the possibility to feel other lives than ours. A great opportunity, here, to become aware of the elements that surround us. And the force of water is always a little hypnotic, isn't it ? 😊💛💛

Wow.....too cool...Again, I am reminded of the famous quote from Loren Eiseley... “If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water.” So many people talk about the nutritional benefits of water, but I also get a lot of “mental” benefits from watching and listening to water. Thanks for sharing Mark!!!
