The system is tested before work is done. Dye is added to the refrigerant gas. A few days later an inspection under UV light may reveal a gas leak.

What's that metal bar that goes across the bottom - where the glove box mounts to? I presume you cut the plastic stock one out and fabricated this as a replacement? Aside from what you've shown in the video would you do any other work if the evaporator needs replacing?

Yes they need to be cut, if you look closely there are cut marks where to cut. Not to sure on part number

Some models have already steel bracket fitted (presume air was fitted in au). The plastic cross panel one had the dash out when fitted. Normally would cut the drivers side of plastic on the indent (distinctive) and put small steel plate behind it then fasten from front with screw to reinstall.

Good Video, I have a 02 model and it has no cabin filter, I have seen on youtube parts can be ordered for the left hand drive model to up grade the cover to fit a filter. Have you done this on a Right hand drive model, or do you know if the parts are available to do this? or can you supply the parts. Much appreciated and thankyou in advance. Steve B

I just did that to my 105 , after a guy quoting me $3000 to do it recons the whole dash needs to come out and remove radiator to get the condenser out , saying it would take 3 days . I managed to do both in 3 1/2 hours. The only thing is i used the old o rings .

Absolutely beautiful, the only thing it sometimes squeals it sounds like fan belt slipping . Might have to tighten it ip a little more i just hope its not the compressor giving up

Na wasn’t getting cold at all condenser was absolutely stuffed, I stripped out the divider and installed cabin filter what a difference .
