Amazing, makes scan data a whole lot easier to work with rather than traditional CAD and other freeware haha. Wish you guys had a creator or hobby license, Rhino/Grasshopper has all I need in free-form, cad, and parametric all in one place.

Can we put the scan texture on our new nurbs model? If it is so, it would be even more amazing!

In some cases it's possible to use the scan with a texture map as the custom object mapping method for the Solid or SubD. However you can get texture distortion at the seams of the solid due to how the objects are aligned. I'll look into this more with several models and make a new video if it works well. I generally will create a new Unwrap for the solid instead using it's edges as seams.

The low poly mesh I started with is a 3D model created from one of the many 3D scanning apps available on Apple and Android devices. Some of these apps can utilize LIDAR while others may use what is called Photogrammetry to assemble a 3D model from still images. Ultimately, many of the results you'll get from these apps will have issues and this workflow is a way to easily fix a scan mesh while also allowing for conversion to a NURBS solid if desired.
