Glad I stumbled across your channel. I purchased the book (The Sedona Method) around 11 years ago, desperately searching for happiness. Spent a few weeks practicing the releasing methods, and one day, out of the blue, while walking down the street on my way home from work, 'ZAPP', I was completely gone. I had no idea what was going on. Both the person who I thought I was, and the person who I was trying to become, completely detached from me, and it was as though I was stood there in the middle, knowing, whatever I was, I was neither one of them. It only lasted a few minutes but put me on a journey to try to find out what on Earth I am. Up until then I had been told by others what I was and what I should believe. At great personal cost, I left my former, very dogmatic religion, and started the search. Life was upside down for a long time. But I just re-purchased The Sedona Method recently again; this time, ready to go all the way. Thank you for these videos.

I remember when I was a child under the age of 8, I used to spontaneously get this sense of awareness of “me, who is seeing and alive in this body”. I tried to explain it to people but I didn’t know how to communicate it. I think it’s amazing because I didn’t have the intellect at that time to recognize the significance and yet it occurred for me every once in a while. As I got older it faded.

I truly enjoyed Rhonda's sharing. "How can you even not be it?" - and yes, when we think we have lost it, lol. it seems to be the case in the beginning till we get used to it and it becomes seemingly ordinary as it once was. As if we went for a search to end up where we started from - home that we have never left, wherever we went. Really great sharing by Rhonda. And yes, no wonder that Robert Adams' simple sharing ended the search. Thank you for this.

@@johndavis5512 you can desire something for your future. Feel it as you already have it. So you are not in stress of, I need to get this or that in desperation. Yes keep it in the present and be calm and work towards it with daily activities to take you towards your goal.
@johndavis55123 жыл бұрын
@@marthaclayton2457 Thanks' Martha! It's just the slippery part of the equation for me. Letting it go. Working towards it is not letting it go. It's focusing on it. I like how you explained it as not obsessing over it. That sounds much more practical.
@TheSedonaMethod3 жыл бұрын
Letting go is an internal process of self inquiry that dissolves all the internal controversies and ambivalences and resistances to accomplishing one's goals. When we let go inside we have much more enthusiasm, energy, vision, wisdom, and creativity. All these things make taking action steps on behalf of our goal much more effortless, joyful and effective.

I am open to these teachings and the books’ mindset, but something in this wakes up the discomfort in me. I’m willing to learn and maybe I just don't understand this subject well enough .If we are all one united awareness and our personal feelings and memories aren’t what defines us AT ALL, how can I be happy knowing that I am just the thing that is seeing all of these emotions and recognizing them, but not actually feeling or producing them in my life, how can I trully be happy (because happiness and love are also emotions as grief and sadness produced by our mind and emotions, aren't they?) ? I personally don't think this is my ego speaking, but just love for my loved and close ones. I want to have connection and the ability to show them love, respect and gratefulness they deserve because they have sacrificed a lot to brought me up as I am and not equalize my connection with them with connection for strangers or people that are doing damage to this world or hurting other people. Or is all of this just saying we are ALL connected in the SAME way or the same level of importance in the actual truthful reality? Are we just “nothing” that is just observing all the love and beautifulness that THIS WORLD (Not us!), our mind and feelings produce and once our journey here ends all the love and great feelings of emotional connection with our families or friends or partners will vanish? Is this all we have with them?
@TheSedonaMethod2 жыл бұрын
Hi Karla! Engaging in processes or shiftiing perspective to experience oneness doesn't preclude feeling love for specific people in our lives. In fact we discover that we are love itself and that often results in our experiencing a boundless love for particular individuals as well as everyone and everything else. Also, we tend to forget that all of these processes or shifts perspectives are about an internal experience. These internal experiences to don't erase the uniqueness of our histories or our preferences. One can experience oneness and boundless love and still prefer strawberry ice cream to chocolate, or classical music to rock and roll, or your mother to mine.

If we are unlimited beings and are totally free, why do we choose to come here and experience so much pain and limitation? My 6 year old daughter is asking me and I have a hard time giving her an answer 😊
@isobel778882 жыл бұрын
I believe we are sent here by God to experience an abundant life. We, like God we are limitless; however we have been programmed differently. Very often the people around us are very ignorant, so it doesn't help us. We are meant to live freely and abundantly first from within. But we have been impressed by wrong beliefs or unbeliefs. Let's not look at others but let's teach ourselves the right way to live, the way God wanted us to live. We can choose to follow the crowd or separate ourselves and live the right way. We can choose to focus on the pain, hurt, past, all the uglyness or focus on what's good and experience peace, joy. We don't have to experience the pain. The more we focus on it, the more pain it brings. Hope this helps. All the best
