Riad Kobaissi a.k.a "The One Who Knocks" is an investigative journalist who has been exposing corruption within the Lebanese government for more than a decade.
For the last 10 years, his investigation into the Beirut port has put Riad in an unprecedented position to reveal groundbreaking evidence about the 2020 Beirut Port Explosion and how ammonium nitrate was smuggled into Lebanon's capital resulting in the killing of more than 200 innocent people, injuring thousands and displacing more than 300,000.

تحية لكم من عراقي في السويد اعتقد ان تجربة ومافيات الفساد في لبنان تم نقلها للعراق لكن بشكل اكثر تطور و أوسع بسبب ان المليارات في العراق لا تعد و تحصى و الفاعل المسيطر هي الاحزاب الشيعية التابعة للولي الفقيه. يقال ان المبلغ المنهوب تعدى ال ١٠٠٠ مليار دولار ربما لو تلتقوا ببعض الشخصيات العراقية الوازنة الأكاديمية لشرح ما يحصل من ترابط فساد و قتل بين العراق و لبنان ربما نلتقي بكم يوما و اهلا وسهلا في ضيافتي هنا في الريف السويدي ان زرتونا

I would say that Lebanon is in the situation in which the Balkans went through in the late 1990s. The wars were already over, but all the lack of petrol, electricity, hyperinflation were there. Also, the mafia is so much in power in the present political life as well, corruption is taking over 60% of the yearly income. Money are simply going somewhere. In my country, Bulgaria things finally started clearing step by step, since 2020, however it is a really slow process. We are the fastest shrinking country currently, in peaceful times... Thank God that at least now our currency is stable, and I hope that Lebanon will find the way to get out from this ridiculous situation. Just a reminder - no one is going to help you from the outside, it is the Lebanese people that can change the situation! السلام عليك! 🙏
