Riah do you always turn it over and put dye on both sides when you HWI? Some people do I’ve noticed and some people don’t. Is putting dye on both sides your preference

I actually haven’t always but it helps with saturation and to make things look a little more even. I have been experimenting with liquid and HWI to see what works best for me. ☺️❤️

Yes it definitely does but it’s worth it. Plus when you dye this way using the hot water irrigation technique you have no batch time so it’s instant gratification😊🧡

Are your dyes mixed with anything? The results are spectacular, but it seems a very inefficient method given how much dye has to be used if they're not mixed with something.

This one is HWI which is hot water irrigation. The hot water makes it batch a lot faster. I’m not super familiar with the microwave tie dye but it’s kind of like that…speeding up the batching time.
