I have Meniere's disease, but it is not expressed as migraines, it is expressed as associated vertigo and loss of balance. The teaching doctor from George Washing University Hospital who was treating me, said for me to supplement with 400 mg B2, 300 mg CoQ 10 and 600 mg magnesium and my loss of balance went away. So I'm an example of the disease you were talking about and had a successful treatment with riboflavin. Thanks for all your insights.

I have a theory that the riboflavin is feeding certain strains of bacteria in the microbiota that cannot produce it and aren't getting enough from their commensal bacteria which are also missing. In order to get the riboflavin to the location needed, high doses must be taken of around 100mg, or more than 30mg and as much as 400mg. This riboflavin dependant bacteria performs certain metabolic functions symbiotically and malfunctioning microbiota will cause malfunction of the vagus nerve (among other things like the immune system's T regulatory cells), and this vagus nerve disruption can result in symptoms like "Menieres" or apparent cerebellum dysfunction, or any branch of the vagus nerve into the, neck, or head. Did you ever ask the teaching doctor why he thought riboflavin would help? I wonder if the CoQ 10 and magnesium did anything.

Thank you for your videos, I appreciate it, especially as I recently developed a riboflavin deficiency. With regard to large amounts of riboflavin, I read the following in Phyllis A. Balch's book *Prescription for nutritional healing* : "Taking too much riboflavin (over 50 milligrams daily) over a long period of time could lead to cataracts and retinal diseases."

I have severe vestibular migraines to the point where I have to use a cane to simply go to the bathroom. I was confined to my bed for almost a decade and saw every type of doctor and got no answers. Now, I take 400 mgs a day and swear by it. I feel immediate relief. however I take it 4 times throughout the day to make it an extended release. If I take the 400 together I notice it doesn't sustain through the course of the entire day. I never forget to take it otherwise I go right back to the spins.

I am very active 40 male. Mostly Animal based Nutrition. Full Fat etc... I work outside a lot and sweat quite a bit. I have a jawbone cavitation that pinches my eustachian tube in my ear causing it to drain. It is my constant barometer for inflammation of any kind. Any kind of inflammation, and the ear drains. In this 4 year battle, but only 6month awareness of the root cause (Jaw Cavitation) I have made good improvements supplementing with dissicated Kidney and Liver, MSM powder, oil pulling and Riboflavin. Im so glad to see this video because I thought that supplementing with Riboflavin was a bad thing in high doses even though it helps me so much. I was only taking 100mg once a week or so because I thought I read a Chris Masterjohn article or video that said not to take more then 10mg. I am going to step it up to 100mg a day for a couple weeks and then report bake to this comment. Thank you very much.

Hey Chris, is there any chance you could discuss the safety of eating fish in a video? Do heavy metals or pollutants really build up in the body and stay there, or is a healthy young person impervious to any serious health problems when eating fish occasionally? I'm guessing the answer would be "it depends" (on genetics, gut species, etc). I wonder if someone was eating a very nutritious, whole foods diet if the pollutant and mercury load would matter a lot less. I love sashimi and would eat it more regularly if I could be more confident that it wouldn't cause any health problems to occur
