I was born in 1950 and started my menstruation at 11 yrs of age. At about 20ish I started having emotional/anger issues that increased with time. Back then there was no dx for my behavior. I suffered boughts of sleeplessness, anxiety, crying, but most of all, anger. Then, I would be just fine, feeling fine and no more anger. I went to several doctors but could not find anything physically wrong, so I went the mental illness route. I was ashamed and never spoke of it. In 1990 rural KS, I heard of a study being done on PMS, but I was too late, the study was complete. I was offered a questionnaire, which I answered, but it stumped the doctor because a lot of things associated with the PMS dx did not apply to me. He advised me to start taking B6 and B Complex daily but warned me not to be alarmed if my urine was orange because my body would use what it needed and flush the rest. Never once was my urine dark; orange or any other color. I took them regularly for the next 20 yrs until I had completed menopause. My husband called my B vitamins "Dragon Slayers" and said he'd rather go hungry then have me go without them.

Sounds like PMDD. I had the same and was able to cure it with Vitex and I would take B complex. I think for me it was a lack of being able to produce progesterone due to ovarian cyst.

When I watch videos like this, I’m sorry to say that I get so angry at my past doctors. For years I sought answers for terrible fatigue, brain fog, terrible massive bloating (slow motility and SIBO), and sometimes depression. Blood tests showed abnormal MCV and other such markers, but I was always told it was nothing significant. A year and a half ago I developed POTS. After stumbling on videos like yours, I started taking B vitamin supplements recently and I’m feeling a world of difference. I believe I have been low in B1, B6, and possibly others for decades. Not one doctor ever mentioned B vitamins to me. Others tried to write me prescriptions for antidepressants and got frustrated with me when I refused (I tried a few - they didn’t help.) I’m thankful to doctors like you who understand nutrition and really want to help educate the public. Thank you. You may not see it, but you are saving lives.

I'm 65 years old (US citizen) living in Germany for the past 30 years. I was diagnosed with T2 diabetes in July 2021. I have been taking Metformin for 3 years now and through diet, fasting and light exercise I've lowered my A1 c to 6.2. Now that I have been experiencing problems for the last 2 years , I was very concerned about why I was having such problems even after eating healthy, do fasting after 6:00pm till 10:00 am, etc. My doctor here in Germany never told me that metformin would deplete vitamin B , so now that I have watched your extremely in depth explanation about the importance of taking a vitamin B supplement, it has improved my health and blood test tremendously ❤. Thank you for your wonderful video 🙏.

I have been experiencing most of the symptoms that you spoke about. I was an extreme vegetarian at one time and dangerously depleted my body of vital vitamins and nutrients. I had dangerously low levels of vitamin D, this led me to horrible problems that I am still recovering from, but with simple supplements I have improved greatly. The symptoms you spoke of I believe are the residual effects of my severe diet. I truly believe that adding this B1 may be the turn around I have been trying to find.

I take B-100s everyday. I thought I was doing something good by taking the higher dose now...... I used to take B-50s. I now take extra B1 and B12 because it's suppose yo help with nerve conditions I developed. Now i find out it's just not enough or I'm totally confused about what dosage will help. I'm not a big eater....just can't eat much all of my life, which is why I started taking supplements in my 30s thinking it was a very good move on my part....... and I'll be turning 75 soon. Now I'm worried about how much is too much of dosages my body can tolerate safely. Thanks doc, for taking the time to explain nutrition for us. U do a great service to us all. 👍🏻

I’m going to be honest, I lost my trust in doctors so when I see one who actually looks like they did their research and continues to educate themselves outside of just what they learned in medical school and about pharmaceutical drugs, I’m always appreciative. I think every doctor should know about nutrition whether it be food or supplements and how it can help us be healthy.

Sadly, you've just described the entire problem with the American medical establishment, including medical associations, medical colleges, etc. They are all owned by big pharma and that's why medical students do not learn about nutrition and natural supplements. The entire medical system is rigged to promote pharmaceuticals. It's a shame because it leads directly to people dying unnecessarily.

And yes I have my husband and checked me with the shots... And yes it does help... It sucks they're not able to take the vitamin or eat food. The only thing helps is the B12 shots directly in the blood... Have you tried iron? Also? I've been trying this in the last few days for my energy with my thyroid...

LOVE these videos! Each one is like an easy to understand comprehensive college course. I did the thorne gut test, and-my niacin was 0 , B12 was very low at 8.0, B3 and B9 were under 18 which on their range is low. Also showed severe gut dysbiosis with more bad bacteria versus good. Not to mention possible fungal overgrowth the number was high, but it doesn't define between good and bad. I suspect it's the bad. So I found this video looking looking to decide what forms of vitamin B I wanted to order as I'm hypersensitive to pretty much everything . And I got every answer I needed from this video and then some. The B vitamins, will be complemented by the digestions enzymes that I have also ordered (vegan source although I am not vegan or vegetarian). I am a registered nurse and I didn't even know about the MCV value when it comes to the potential indication with the B vitamins . I looked back in my lab results from cbc and cmp and MCV was trending up even then at 93 and then few months later 95. Hair loss, chronic fatigue, etc. all has been happening for several years and finally the lights are starting to come on. None of the doctors said anything to me about the MCV numbers. (Welcome to traditional medicine. It's good for emergency needs, but as a standard severely lacking.) Thanks to videos like this ! That MCV value and the knowledge from this video helps back up the gut test values . I am likely severely deficient and have just ordered a Thorne vitamin B basic complex to try. (Along with the probiotics and completely dropping coffee and all added sugars.) I will be watching more of these videos to fill in the blanks on the rest of my results. It will be wonderful if this works and I feel better after almost 10 years of feeling terrible . At 57 I am too young to feel this old.Thyroid numbers were perfect by the way.

You need to change your diet. Vegan diet makes it easy to become anemic. Plants are not the best source of B vitamins or amino acids. I used to be a vegan, but I ended up becoming anemic and suffering many issues with the nervous system. I didn't realize it was my diet until I switched to the carnivore diet. Now I feel much better. Yes, its one of the best sources. It will always help to take methylcobalamin(b12), benfothiamine(fat-soluble targets brain/nerves), allithiamine(also thiamine), and Folate(not folic acid). Nutritional yeast with methycobalamin supplementation should fix most issues, but the others can target specific problems like nerve damage. Lastly- MTHFR gene defects can cause vit B to not be used effectively, if your really concerned with vit b take methyl- b vitamins, tests are available for these genes.

But even then it usually takes to to tango except for the rogue drunk out on the dance floor. If you get a diagnosis you're not familiar with or medication you're not familiar with do your reading do your research and it's a very good idea to get a consult appointment with another doctor. Get your questions ready. Get help ask someone to help you with your questions. The answers to your questions will help determine that direction you will take in treating your condition.

Get a grain mill and freshly mill your grain berries, wheat, berries, daily, or when used and you will have all the vitamins you will need. The issue is we stripped all of that away we took away our green mill in our community and that has so many implications. But it must be freshly milled and stored properly.

I have celiac disease and SIBO, and cannot get enough thiamine. I tremble when I don't have enough. The reason I believe the trembling is from lack of thiamine is that I have stopped trembling when I just started to tremble by drinking orange juice. It of course also has high levels of vitamin C and potassium, but I also take potassium all day every day so I can urinate. (My legs have been swelling, and I can't urinate unless I take lots of potassium.) The potassium doesn't stop the trembling, so I assume it is the thiamine as that is the other thing in OJ. I also take thiamine in three forms -- benfothiamine, thiamine hcl in liquid form and thiamine mononitrate. I'm going to try thiamine TTFD next. But taking the thiamine directly doesn't stop the trembling; only drinking OJ will do that.

Thank you for the video on most of the B Vitamins. I have a question for you: is it beneficial to take a B Complex Vitamin or are you suggesting taking each of these vitamins separately? Seems to be impossible to find physicians where I live who even believe in vitamins much less have any true, current information regarding the use of such supplements. At age 84, I need all the help I can find. Have always used Vitamins C and D3 - recently decided I needed to add B for a number of the conditions that I have. If any one Vitamin B is the best of all, which would it be and I can start there. Many thanks.

In nature the B's are always all together helping each other. Take a B Complex. Start with 1@day and increase slowly till you feel good. I take 4 @day which keeps me going throughout the day.

@@satyanarayanab8898hi I can recommend u watch KZbin channel E&O nutrition, he deals with Benfotomine being very helpful with Parkinson's symptoms. He features a lady who has trialed Benfotiamine Vit B1 Thiamine with such good results, she has written a book to answer all questions she was being asked by Parkinson's patients. So search KZbin E&I Nutrition/Parkinson's, hopefully u will find the correct one I am talking about.

I have been using the following B Complex for 22 years, containing 50 mg each of the "B's" : SISU COOL B-50. A blue glass container. I also take a B 12 supplement. Sublingual tablets (under tongue). 5,000 mcg x2 This is shared as a guideline, as what I take.

Be careful with nutritional yeast. It can be fortified with synthetic b vitamins rather than the active forms. My current understanding is that this can cause problems for people with common gene variants.

Not always, get nutritional yeast with only yeast as the ingredient, if there's more ingredients its synthetic.

I must acknowledge no doctor on the KZbin channel talks about Vitamins where people make the most mistakes. This is my first time seeing a doctor root out and explain in depth about vitamins. The doctors who have KZbin channels and I subscribed to them are in this priority: 1) Dr Sten Ekberg, 2) Dr Jin W. Sung 3) Dr Eric Berg 4) Dr Ford Brewer. All these doctors are super geniuses and they are special in their fields. Besides these doctors, I don't listen to others because they might misguide me.

Hey let's talk about B4. It's B1's fat soluble partner. Dr Royal Lee has info on this from when vitamins were called what they were = 'hormone like substances." Vitamins are NOT chemicals, chemicals are PART of The Vitamin Process. You've got some good work and I can help you fill in the gaps.

So informative! I feel upbuilt from this information and from all of your videos. I'm constantly astonished, finding myself saying, "That's why this or that happens! There's actually something I may be able to do about it! But mostly I am awestruck by how all of this is proof of how intelligently made our bodies are and how it can repair itself and that we were created to live forever. God will awaken our body's knowledge to repair itself constantly by the food and nutrients He has provided for us so that there will be no more sickness or death, and the earth will be made into a paradise, and no one will say I am sick.
