This idea of incorporating the podcast into actual working angles is actually brilliant. Obviously it's a work but damn it it feels real and that's what we want. They want us to think it's real and making this match feel more real then anything wwe or aew or tna or njpw or bjpw or AAA or ROH or Lucha underground. The guys and gals that are around my age group we're all so lucky that every weekend we got to watch the best wrestling matches locker room full of talented wrestlers. We didn't have cable or satellite just outside antenna picked up 3 channels NBC,CBS,ABC. every Sunday at 12 NWA World wide wrestling came on channel 13 ABC WLOS out of Asheville North Carolina. I was lucky enough that I got to go see NWA a few times when they would have a show at the Asheville civic center even a TV taping one time. I was there to see only one man though Nature boy Ric Flair. The civic center was always packed when I was there not many seats were empty. People didn't sit there quite the whole time yelling whistling cow bells so it was loud. I was waiting to hear Ric whoooo in person even with all the noise whoooo filled the arena the fans that acted or maybe even didn't care for Ric they still respected him cause they knew he was the best wrestler on the card and no matter if there was 200 people or twenty thousand he gave you all he had that night you didn't leave disappointed after a Ric Flair match. Thank you Ric for getting in the business TY for all the memories. Good luck next Sunday kick Jeff Jarretts ass I'm pretty sure the Jay lethal is a angle he and Ric got a surprise for Jeff

The Valliants, Bobo Brazil, Sailor Art Thomas, Pepper Gomez, Moose Cholak, Strangler, Black Jacks, Jerry Blackwell, Wahoo, David Schultz, Ventura and Adonis and so many more. Have to give it to Blackwell to be that agile for a large man. And of course, Mean Gene. The fun days of seeing them live in high school gymnasiums.

Small world! I grew up in the foothills, about an hour east from Asheville, and had the same choices in fuzzy, snowy television. I never missed NWA, and Flair was The Man. U could not have said it any better when the NWA came to Atlanta & Macon Ga growing up we was there my mom has ton of pictures of my sister and myself with several legends that called there matches in the ring. No script to follow when the championships meant something to the fans and the wrestlers. Yeah the ending and the decision on who to put the belts on was predetermined. But it was based on who drew money and how hard the guys worked in the ring who was truly entertaining if you will. And who could build a great story line. Angry feelings aside; Jeff Jarrett WAS an official member of The Four Horsemen. Yes it was brief, but he was still welcomed into the fold and had to beat both Chris Benoit at Starrcade '96 and then after that, Steve 'Mongo' McMichael on Nitro in order to get there. Kayfabing in the podcasts is just stupid. This seems like it is about Conrad living out a fantasy by being part of an angle. Kayfabe on the docuseries and then discuss the angle normally on the pod. It would be much more interesting to hear them discuss the development and execution of the angle, than continue it here.
