A quick look at what the blooms look like a week after pollination, both of the pollination was successful, and if it was not.

Awesome!! Thanks for sharing. I had 3 cuttings this year and 2 rotted 😞. I'll just have to find an already established pot or buy a dozen cuttings next season when they're safe to ship. It was so great seeing a video from you. Enjoy the holidays!!

Did you have to use the brush on all of them or did some pollinate it self? There is one in my area but it is quite expensive. For some reason they are not selling smaller plants, just he large one. Hopefully will get one soon. I love those kind of plants. Beautiful plant. Keep up the good work.

Genome Satori, no these kind do not self pollinate at all. They have to each be pollinated with a brush or no fruit will form. 😊

@@phileofarm1 interesting. So in the wild an animals does it but since you have it in your home, you have to do it. Thank you for sharing

How big do the fruits get? Can you eat their skin or should you peel them first?
@phileofarm1 Жыл бұрын
Mine are always about 2-4 inches long and about an inch to an inch and a half wide. I don’t peel them, the skin is soft and thin, and tastes great.

How old and big was your ric rac before it bloomed. Also. What about other orchid cactus? Do you have many?
