We all are…what a GREAT man….. but it’s the right move. You can’t pay a HB that much money to play only a few games. I wonder if Jacob’s agent reached out to the Packers, or it was the other way around.

@jonblaze30 jacobs. After the season he said in a interview that he did not have a problem playing on the franchise tag. Once it came time to sign it he refused. He's a liar. Again, this season, he said he wanted to play for AP money wasn't an issue. He jumped to green bay for 12 million a year.

I agree. No one has repped the 'G' better than Aaron Jones. Him moving to the Vikings just makes this worse. There's no sugar-coating this. As a Packer fan, I'm gutted to see Aaron Jones go. As impressive as Jones was and still is as one of the most successful running backs of his era, he is more impressive as a man and human being. He unselfishly gave the Packers a hometown discount. Who does that? I wish Jones nothing but the best in his future and look forward to seeing his Packer achievements celebrated by the organization in the future. Jones may not finish his career in GB but in our hearts, Aaron Jones is a Packer for life.

@SunShine-xc6dh neither did the packers at 7 million! Even in a system that heavily rotates their backs he could not stay healthy and is only getting older. His agent misread the gbp and the market and he's now with a team who has no one else and is going nowhere in the foreseeable future. How did he strike gold with the tes/wrs? Watson has been a bust, Musgrave missed half the season and was terrible when he played, Doubs is good not great and Reed is good not great. They don't have a legit #1 wr or te at this point
@petervaichus6978
@petervaichus6978 2 ай бұрын
@@AdamB34 - Reed set a record for TDs by a Packers’ rookie. Wicks, Doubs, Musgrave, and Kraft were all good pass catchers. The receivers Gutekunst drafted last year will stand up to any one year draft by any other team in terms of their ability and potential for WRs/TEs. Add Melton to the WR mix also as he had a 100 yard receiving game. The Packers don’t need a number 1 WR because they spread the ball around to 5-6 receivers every game making their offense difficult to stop. Thats why Rodgers lost in the playoffs at times because he focused only on Adams and defenses contained him. They can’t do that anymore to this GB offense due to all the targets they now have. No need for a number one with their success now.

It still makes absolutely no sense! The man earned his money. And you wonder why players act like so called divas because when you work hard and do everything you're suppose to do you still get cut in the end. I mean the guy already took a pay cut now you want to cut half his salary?! I wish Aaron nothing but the best....Just not the Vikings!😂😂😂

Lol... Packers offered him $6 million, he went to Minnesota for $7 million. Aging players get cut because they are aging, not because the team hates them and wants to disrespect them. He got all the money he earned. He was no longer worth the high salary

Packers fan here in WI, this is the best move yet for the packers. Jones was not that good of a back and it’s time the packers get a back they deserve. It’s ok to want better fellow packer fans.

This is not quite as hilarious as the Packers paying a non pro -bowl safety 17M a year, but why in the world would they give Jacobs 12M a year when he averged 3.5 yards a carry last season? Fun fact, Jacobs has more touches in his career then Jones! The Packers are doing stupid stuff which warms my heart as a fan of the brand new Lions!

What the he** is going on with gute? That's it, been a lifelong Packers fan - I'm done with them. Cutting Jones lays bare the complete indifference the office and coaching staff have not only for their players but also for their fans. Damn he takes s pay cut and when it's time to pony up they cut him. It used to be a family - i don't know what to call it now. Damn I'm ticked.

Youngest roster in the league, new defensive staff to fix their biggest weakness, which was Joe Barry's defense, and that was their one shot?
