As impressive as Jones was and still is as one of the most successful running backs of his era, he is more impressive as a man and human being. He unselfishly gave the Packers a hometown discount. Who does that? I wish Jones nothing but the best in his future and look forward to seeing his Packer achievements celebrated by the organization in the future. @@AdamB34 - Reed set a record for TDs by a Packers’ rookie. Wicks, Doubs, Musgrave, and Kraft were all good pass catchers. The receivers Gutekunst drafted last year will stand up to any one year draft by any other team in terms of their ability and potential for WRs/TEs. Add Melton to the WR mix also as he had a 100 yard receiving game. The Packers don’t need a number 1 WR because they spread the ball around to 5-6 receivers every game making their offense difficult to stop. Thats why Rodgers lost in the playoffs at times because he focused only on Adams and defenses contained him. They can’t do that anymore to this GB offense due to all the targets they now have. No need for a number one with their success now.
