Everybody plays good teams and bad teams. Two years ago, the Colts beat the Chiefs and hardly anyone else. That's NFL football. The Colts will have a similar schedule this year, but the Texans should have a tougher schedule, because they won the division. All I'm trying to say is the difference between 1st and 3rd place was a catch vs. a drop, and it'll probably be a similar story this year. It's a game of inches, but NFL commentators will always talk like there's miles of difference.

1: last year the Texans didn't have Daniele Hunter Azeez al Shaair, Stefon Diggs, and Joe Mixon. Not to mention a more developed sophomore quarterback, and Tank Dell was out for the year. 2: The backup QB did not matter at all, their whole offense was a rushing attack with j.t, and who knows? minshew could be a better QB than Anthony Richardson. 3: If 90% of people say the Texans win the division, they likely will. 1. Texans - I'm nowhere near the camp that says they'll have a "sophomore slump". CJ Stroud is the man I knew coming out of college and his team will go further in the playoffs this year thanks to their stacked defense to help with their already elite offense. 2. Jaguars - I think they'll be a better team than last year, however there's still some question marks on their defense. 3. Colts- If Anthony Richardson can come back and be at least solid, the Colts might be one of the scary teams to watch out for down the stretch, but have to see it to believe it. 4. Titans- They have some good additions, however after this season I think the Music City will be missing Mike Vrabel come January.

Predicting 6-0 is flat out disrespectful. The Colts have swept the division 4 times, the Titans have done it once, and no one else in the AFC South ever has. For this to happen, your team not only has to be elite (I'd say at least 12 wins), but the rest of the division has to truly suck. With very few exceptions, everybody loses in their division, because they play each other twice, and that's a lot of familiarity.

But.presuming good health for all teams, realistically, who in the division has the firepower to keep up? Jags perhaps. Colts? they're going more ball control and running to keep the ball away from CJ. Titans? Probably not but Levis maybe develops well under the new HC. It just might be too tough a task. The upgrades on defense only make it that much harder. Stingley and Lassiter probably best CB duo in the the south.....I think 4-2 is the floor but also going 6-0 is possible. See Houston in the 11 to 13 win range. Still wish good health and progress for all the teams. Just no wins when you're playing us 😆✌🏽🤘

Texans played a last place schedule and still barely beat a bunch of mid and bad teams. In week 12 the Jags were playing for the #1 seed in the AFC. Not the AFC South. The AFC above the Chiefs, Ravens and Dolphins. The Texans played one True Super Bowl contender last year (Ravens) and in those two games they got their doors blown off 59-19! Texans no longer get to play teams like the Panthers and Zach Wilson’s Jets (which they lost to😂) No more barely beating the Cardinals. They have some heavy hitters that are gunning for them! Texans could easily find themselves back at the bottom of this division!
