The vehicle we are testing stickers for around $73,000 and comes with the 5.3l V8 engine. For 2023, Chevrolet has introduced the Super Cruise hands free driving feature for the Premier and High Country trims. We also have 3 new color choices and an optional blacked out Chevrolet grill.

I bought a ‘23 Suburban Z71 with the luxury package about 6 months ago and I absolutely love it, sure it costs a bit to fill the 28 gallon tank, but it rides like butter on a hot skillet. Fitting the family including two 80lb+ dogs and luggage for a road trip is so much easier than other suvs we own/owned.

Do you have to put premium for enginer or do you have the 5.3 engine?

@@josephjuarez589 5.3 doesn’t require premium. 100% Regular here costs between $3.1-$3.8. So you’re looking something between $85-$110 for about roughly 500 miles. Surely it’s not good on gas but not bad at all considering its size.

Whenever I ride in these cars as an Uber passenger it is the most cavernous, spacious and floaty ride ever. I can barely feel the car moving or stopping

Great review. I rented one during my recent move. The front end looks great. I preferred the entire vehicle over the Ford Expedition. Just a better powertrain. It's artificially tall though. Reminds me of 1980s conversion vans. The only odd thing about it was that the second row seats are difficult to move. Very high spring tension. It's gonna take a pretty built soccer mom to move them. It's real nice, but you're not getting what you pay for. The interior is definitely better than the previous generation. Less of an embarrassing ripoff. Still expensive though.

I def agree with you my friend I do prefer this to the Expedition just has a higher quality driving experience. Surprisingly I thought moving the 2nd row seats around was easy maybe every vehicle is slightly different. Interior could be better but I suppose that’s why they have the GMC and Caddy versions

The 6.2L is a must lol we have a 23 z71 6.2L Blacked out and i swapped out the exhaust to the corsa sport exhaust system and wow it woke it up sounds and drives great I always drive it in Sport mode things a beast. I think the rear should have got some Leds though. I like the way i can adjust the ride hight and stance looks neat how when i come to a stop and park its lowers automatically

I’m a GM guy but There about 10,000 over priced for that interior you get. Gm trucks over the last 20 years have had crap plastic. It’s better then I used to be but it’s still behind ford and ram.

The seats in the Tahoe and Yukon have smaller seats than the competition and their older year models. The seats are not wide enough for a man's body. The fact is the seats in the second row are smaller than the front row. Nether one is not wide enough for example as my 2013 Avalanche which are 21 inches wide and the new 21 ,22 ,23 Tahoe and Yukon are only 19 3/4 inches wide !

As nice as this is, I think I'd rather spend the money on the CX90, I did like though how quick those seats folded down and it was pretty flat too.

I wanted to mention vehicles like the new CX-90 and Grand Highlander that are designed to have pretty spacious 3rd rows but the reason why I didn’t was because many Tahoe/Suburban owners in the States would like to tow a boats/camping trailer which I think the Mazda and toyota will most likely be capped at 5k towing but I could be wrong

@@MeynMotorGroup You may be right but I think something like the CX90 or that ilk shouldn't really be used as a tow vehicle, IMHO I think people choose the wrong sorts of vehicles to do the wrong sorts of jobs with, if you really want to tow something heavy then you should use a mid sized truck and I do mean truck not ute, EG your big F450's or an Isuzu or Mitsubishi truck or something like that, and tow your really big boat or van safely without endangering your family or someone else's in the process, as the last thing you need when towing is for the tail to wag the dog which happens WAY more frequently than is let on.

@@Excalabur50 Exactly, I remember the Pathfinder I reviewed had the potential to tow 6,000lbs which is amazing for what it is but I personally would not use it for towing because it is not on a truck platform. You def need a truck platform to feel confident and safe towing boats and larger trailers as you said 👍

So, I get what you’re saying about the interior quality. It’s not up to par with other vehicles in the same price range like BMW, Lexus, etc. however, those other companies big SUVs are not the same size as the Suburban. You’re gonna pay more for the space and utility of a Suburban than you might for a smaller SUV with a better interior. Compared to the Grand Wagoneer, the Suburban is a bargain. Even the Expedition Max is $80k plus. None of the luxury companies sell anything this size and their biggest SUVs still cost much more than a loaded High Country or Denali.

Well the Cadillac at $95k fixes the interior problem my friend the Chevy is more for hauling family so the interior was designed to be more durable. Different use cases. God bless!

Do you think you will be towing? If not it might be in your best interest to look into the Toyota GH or Lexus TX can fit adults in the third row with a massive trunk and great fuel economy

Ya, but your driving it empty. Loaded up with cargo and passengers, and towing a trailer, and going up a hill, then you might need the 6.2L.
