Amazing when played at a slower tempo, than when it was sung live, without a microphone or other gadgets to amplify, resonate, echo or manipulate the sound. It is beautiful to hear it in Rich’s voice with the musical score. His band members (shout out to Phil, his best fan and secret band member), and recording artists have done a brilliant job in creating his albums since Urban Hymns was re released with new recordings. Captain Rock lives on.
