People went cruel all out on Hammond without considering some facts about Rimac hypercar ... How many guys you think actually got to drive it before Hammond ? 5 ? Do you think it is easy to handle 1200 bhp without any feedback of sound warning you how much power is on the tires ? Electric motors accelerate way faster than conventional engines and yeah he was going in hot but then again , he couldn't know how fast exactly because his eyes should be ahead , not on the speedometer . I think any race driver in that car without previous experience on the specific car could have crashed . If you didn't notices Jeremy said " you drove all morning" That means he only had few hours getting used to it ... It was an accident .

@@griffins5655 Hammond or any guy like Hammond, in a brand new hypercar, full of cutting edge technology, fully electric, only hearing the tires on the tarmac was difficult to estimate how fast he was going. You approach a turn, your eyes are on the road ahead, you take your foot of the throttle, only to realise that without throttle there is no way you can turn that thing into direction because you are coming in too hot.... Next thing you know tires spin but the car goes straight, the speed was so great even the torque vectoring couldn't be efficiently strong... "limitation unlocked". Even if Rimac had the slightest clue this was a potential issue or not, who could possibly warn the driver for it ? . You know that car Tesla... 0 to 60 in 1.8 seconds, they tested it on a straight line. The only drivers that could possibly control such thing, G forces etc are the dragster drivers and again they have experience only in a straight line... Poor Hammond had curves ahead. Must have been adrenaline rush. Have you ever been in a car of this caliber ? Excitement, fear, alertness and a feeling as if you are drunk mess up your head.

You can tell by his face he's out if his comfort zone. The number of bad crashes the man has had is a hint he needs to leave that aspect to the pros

@@howienorway I accept your point but Ayrton Senna was one of the great drivers. Hammonds drag racer crash and his bike fall were not his fault. The other two crashes were poor driving I just dont think hes a natural. If you look at his face hes shitting his pants
