This bad behaviour by Police and retailers stops when the customers are able to take legal recourse. For being sent away without receiving recipe. For unnecessarily taking up an extra 10 minutes or more of the customers time. £500 per claim would resolve this issue over night and the appropriate signs would appear where necessary. Forcing retailers to act responsible and stop them wasting tax payers time.

You aren't considered a taxpayer when privately negotiating with another private individual or company. We could spend 6 hours arguing over how much a button is worth. This is the area of life your freedom exists in. Whatever laws you imagine making your life easier, they are more likely to limit your ability to negotiate in the real world

I once spent a 50p commemorative coin (Kew gardens) only to find out it was worth £250 by my daughter who collects coins............. For the baldy spaz barrister, it came from a commemorative collection too, like the Paddington ones I just spent in my local shop......... Anyone that believes a "barrister" that needs 3 KZbin channels to spout "law", and needs the views to make money, is either a liar or crap barrister. Anyhow, cheers Julian 👍🏻

I didn't even recognize the accents until he mentioned Aberdeen. That's just over the hill from me. I'm not surprised the interaction went as it did, I've been auditing for a few months in this corner of Scotland and everyone is absolutely lovely. I have my own £20 coin ready to go but I want to get a £100 coin too before I start. If they accept them, I intend on buying them back, if they don't accept them, it's name and address only and I welcome them to negotiate before legal action. And any coin audits, you're free to share. I could do with the views.

I imagine his thought process is if the queens head is on it when "king" charles is on the new coins these will shoot up in value as collectors items again - though the KING of kings is coming back and anyone following what is actually happening will know that the actor playing the role of Charles right now will never be King in any official capacity. The mint sells these coin for the face value for normal money they say it's legal tender and when you try and use it it's refused . How many millions are in people's draws unable to circulate in society but they do rather a good job removing cash from society by selling these .
