Richard, if bluegill grew to 10 pounds you wouldn't be hearing so much about bass. I've said that for years and years. That bluegill would pull that bass home. I was never much for squirrels as far as eating goes although I'd go hunting with relatives who did. My favorite was cottontails with a .22LR. Southern -fried rabbit! Those colors on those bulls, though. Wow. Like tropical fish. Richard, Thank you so much for taking us to the pond with you. I used to fish a pond like it.

I would have kept 5 or 6 for me and my wife. Maybe 7 or 8 and then stopped. If I want to feel a fight, I just go walk a Siberian Husky or a Pitbull. Looks like they never had a hole in their mouth from being caught. Never feel guilty for thinning the herd a little bit. My wife says I cook better tasting fish than the Bonefish Grill, Boston Fish Market, or Shaws Crab House. And that ain’t no bull jive, Gene. You come out of those places 100/150 $ lighter.
