@@bangerbangerbro People aren't amazed by the rocket launching into space... they're amazed when it returns to Earth and (usually) lands safely at a targeted landing pad to be reused in a future launch. If you didn't know, 50 years ago, the vast majority of the parts used were one-time use. As for "toxic propellants", they're not toxic once they combust and mostly just emit large amounts of carbon dioxide. Which yes, isn't great, but is ultimately insignificant compared to other sources of pollution (cars, planes, and industry).

Every person that has ever asked me about buying a salvage Tesla to save money I have told them "look up Rich Rebuilds on KZbin" and a grand total of ZERO have pursued it after learning about the horrors of dealing with Tesla on parts or repairs. I would imagine that most of these extremely high bid vehicles are going to other countries that don't have branded titles or where these vehicles are impossible to find. If you watch the auctions live you will see a LOT of overseas bidders that bid more than retail on salvage vehicles.

To many people watch YT and TV car shows and think that they're going to make buku $$$. They have no concept of working within a budget, knowing the value of the vehicle, concept of cost to repair and overspend and get stuck or lose money on their "investments" (also not accounting for bidding fever). Not only that, but they don't repair the cars correctly, shade tree mechanic rigging, putting the next person in danger or it just make it work long enough to sell and the new owner has to sink money into it, to fix it correctly. OR get cheap work done, like getting maaco to paint the car on their cheapest package and can't figure out why it looks like hot garbage or it doesn't last (chipping off). Thanks for telling it how it is Rich. Keeping it 💯
