@thecatwrangler9448
@thecatwrangler9448 Жыл бұрын
Anyone who is not associated with the WWE will refer to it by its correct name dependent upon the era in which they’re speaking of: Capital Wrestling up until 1963, then the World Wide Wrestling Federation until 1980, then finally anything after 2002 we must refer to as the World Wrestling Federation due to those MONSTERS at the World Wild Fund for Nature! Bah-Humbug! (I’m kidding, they deserve the name more than Vince they had been called that since prior to his father ever called Capital Wrestling the WWWF)

I spent some time on the road with Rick then he managed a gym in South Calgary I went to. This was just as he was writing his book. He was a nice guy. At least to me. He became a caveman after a few beers so we got along quite well. Heh heh. Rip ya big stiff.

I also knew Rick back in the early 90's he was working at the Back Alley as a bouncer he was 1 year younger than me , Then I lived by that gym on 12ave sw , would see him all the time talk and bs about old times I was also originally from Surrey BC Cloverdale and so was he from Surrey , years later I would still see him around at Safeway in Sunnyside that was the last times I seen Rick , He was a nice dude and I remember they had a couple Akitas in the gym on 12ave , Thanks for the time and upload , RIP Rick

@@FISTSLIKEBULLETS2I saw Rick working at the Back Alley in the late 90s, early 00s. I knew who he was but I was too intimidated to say anything to him. Those bouncers at the Alley were all huge but Rick was the biggest one of them all.

That would be terrible, being known as a literal fake for the rest of your life, being famous for it. He was put in a position where he couldn’t succeed and had his career permanently ranked because of it. He was booked into a no-win scenario.

I always wondered why nobody on A&E nor anyone from KZbin covered Kayfabe Ramon. Of course, we know what happened to the Fake Diesel (who was a former dentist and became a future Hall of Famer) but I think I was the only one who wondered who played the Fake Razor Ramon. Thank you, Original Wrestling, for covering the career of Kayfabe Ramon, Richard Bognar.

If you're taking requests for this series, the scant information on Chris Colt makes for a fascinating tale. I'm sure if you could dig up something more, it would certainly help spread the legacy of a man who has been seemingly lost to history thanks to most of the footage of his existence being destroyed.
